TheBabaSling Baby Carrier by Joovy ~ Review

Summer is a time our family is on the go a lot. Between going to the park, trips to the zoo, walks around the neighborhood or checking out a baseball game...we are often outside enjoying the beautiful weather every chance we get.

My 5 year old and 3 year old are pretty independent now, but we still need a stroller or carrier for my 1 year old. There are times a stroller is nice, but more often than not I would prefer to have a way of carrying Caysen easily. That means finding a carrier that is easy to use and put on by myself as well as one that is great quality and made to hold a toddler (not just a baby). Thankfully, Joovy has exactly what I've been looking for!

When the carrier arrived I couldn't wait to check it out.

Once I had the carrier out of the bag, I was happy to find the quality to be just as I expected...superior! It is soft, yet durable and something I can see holding up to washings and wear very well!

I also LOVE the color. I prefer gender neutral baby gear, so the fact that this is a nice grey color is perfect. Both my husband and I can use it comfortably.

I was really excited to start using theBabaSling, but will admit that at first I couldn't help but wonder just how simple it would be to use. I have used carriers in the past that have taken more than one person to get it on correctly, not to mention very complicated steps in doing so. Thankfully, Joovy has made it super simple!

This sling came with a user-friendly instruction booklet with pictures and steps that are easy to follow and understand for each of the five carrying positions. They also have put together 'how to' videos to make it even easier.

I appreciate that Joovy takes the time to make sure that users know how to correctly use their products, especially one used for baby wearing! Safety is of supreme importance to me, and I like that Joovy feels the same!

Once I had learned a bit about the product and the different carrying positions, I was ready to try it out for myself. The adjustable straps are easy to adjust to my size and I like that it can be worn on either shoulder. I will admit, the first time I put it on I thought I must be forgetting something because that seemed too easy. But it really was just a matter of getting it on over my shoulder and adjusting the railings so they fit correctly! In fact, it's the easiest baby carrier to use that I've ever tried!

 

This hammock style sling is perfectly shaped to support a newborn's developing spine while providing closeness and bonding between parents and baby or toddler. I appreciate when baby products grow with a child, and love that this baby carrier is one that can be used with babies as well as toddlers. It even has two positions for breastfeeding as well!

I have really enjoyed using theBabaSling to carry Caysen. He's safe and secure, and at the same time...I'm not having to carry him in my arms all the time. It's been great for both of us! He sits in the carrier so nicely, and it couldn't be easier to get him in and out. I have also found it to be very comfortable.

I've been very impressed with the design, comfort and simplicity of this award-winning baby carrier from Joovy!
