Orbit for Kids Sugarfree Gum

Growing up with a mom in the dental field, I learned all about healthy oral hygiene habits from a young age. Over the years I have continued to make taking care of my teeth a priority, and want to pass that down to my children as well. 

With three young children, it's not always easy to get them to understand the importance of brushing their teeth every day. Overtime though, they've become more aware of the importance of keeping "sugar bugs" as we call them, off their teeth so they don't get any cavities or other problems. 

To make brushing and flossing more fun for them, I try to brush and floss right along with them. I think it's important to have someone to model the behavior for them, and when they see me having fun doing it, they want to have fun too! We also try to sing fun songs (the same ones I used to sing with my preschoolers as they were brushing their teeth when I was teaching) which helps to make the time more enjoyable for everyone!

I am always looking for ways to encourage healthy oral hygiene habits, and recently learned about another great way to help my kids keep their little mouths clean in between brushings.

My kids LOVE the Strawberry Banana flavor. I carry it with me in my purse, so when we're out and about, my older two can easily chew a piece of gum while giving me peace of mind that it's helping keep their teeth healthy and clean in between brushings and flossings.
