Anamalz Wooden Poseable Playmates ~ Review & Giveaway

My kids have a playroom full of toys, half of which they actually pull out and play with on a regular basis. Although the battery operated, high tech toys with lights, sounds, etc are fun...it's the more simple, open-ended toys that they seem to turn to time and time again. The kind of toys that spark their creativity and let their imaginations run wild. I am always on the lookout for high quality toys like this, which is why I was happy when introduced to Anamalz!

Designed in Australia, Anamalz are handcrafted wooden toys made from sustained maple wood which make them durable and extremely high quality. These award winning toy animals can be bent into dozens of funny poses, letting the imaginations of little ones soar.

I couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review a few of the adorable Anamalz!

When our eco-friendly wooden toy animals arrived, I was immediately impressed with the way they come packaged. All of the animals were neatly placed in a high quality bag. It's perfect for storing the animals when we're not using them so they don't get lost.

Of course, it's what was inside the bag that the kids were most excited about. As we pulled out each of the Anamalz and got the tree ready...Kaelyn got more and more excited!! She absolutely loved the unique, cute look of each of the animals and immediately began playing with them.

I was really pleased with the great quality of each piece. I know they're something that will last us a long time which is great! I also love the super soft fabric incorporated on each animal. It's neat that each one can be moved and maneuvered...I think that's Kaelyn's favorite part. She enjoys setting them up and playing with them in all sorts of ways. With something so open-ended and versatile, the sky is the limit as to how they can played with. I love that they encourage creative play and with my kids, they never seem to get boring.

The Anamalz we received have definitely been a big hit in our household. In fact, I'm already considering buying more to add to the set. There are four categories which make up the Anamalz line of poseable pals: Farm - including donkey, horse, llama; Wild - including baboon, buffalo, moose; Australian - including emu, wombat, kangaroo; and the all new Prehistoric - including parasaurolophus, stegosaurus, triceratops, etc. There are also accessories like a play mat and trees to enhance the play experience. In all, there are 35+ figures to collect!! With so many to choose from, I have a feeling it won't be hard finding a few more my kids will love!

Overall I've been really happy with the Anamalz we were sent to review. The quality is fantastic, they are adorable, eco-friendly and have already entertained my kids for hours on end! I would highly recommend them to other parents with young children.
