A simple "Just because..." note or gift is always appreciated. That's why I'm always looking for ways to let the loved ones in my life know how much they're loved and thought of. I'm always looking for fun gift ideas, which is why I was thankful when introduced to Tandem Lane

This new subscription service offers monthly care packages available to be delivered straight to a recipient's door. They assemble a 'box of happiness' containing items ranging from family photos to games, hobby items, snacks and personal care products completed with a personal note from the giver. It is designed to serve the 12 million+ people over 65 who live alone and may be in need of a little TLC from distant family members. Items are selected based on advice from aging experts, caregivers and seniors themselves.

What a fantastic idea, huh?! I definitely have loved ones in my life who love a thoughtful gift like this! In learning more, I found that subscribers can actually specify male/female and sugar/no-sugar when they sign up. They can also email digital photos as well as notes to Tandem Lane to include in each monthly package. Tandem Lane then prints the photos and notes, and also encloses a 'brag book' in the first month's shipment to store the photos in as they get them. What a fun way to personal an already very fun gift!

When asked if I'd liked to review a 'box of happiness' from Tandem Lane, I was thrilled. I think this is such a wonderful idea and couldn't wait to share about it with all of you!

When the box arrived, I was immediately impressed with the nice size as well as all that was included!! WOW! Tandem Lane fills these boxes with all kinds of goodies that any one would love to receive on their doorstep.

First was information about the current theme (which subscribers are notified of via email as well). There were also sample pictures and note like the ones subscribers can send to their loved ones.

Of course, there were many other fun items that would be sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who opens the box. Items like a puzzle book, notepad, snacks, canvas tote and adorable photo album!!

Wow, I was amazed with it all...and the quality and variety was incredible. It gives the recipient something to snack on while they have fun with puzzles (or in some boxes, card games and other hobby items), writing notes or looking through pictures of their loved ones.

If you're looking for a fun, unique way to let the loved ones in your life know that they're thought of...I would recommend checking out Tandem Lane. Fees begin at $19/month for a six-month subscription. You can learn more at TandemLane.com.

This is a neat idea and something for the person who has everything or is just hard to get things for. I will keep this one in mind. Rita Spratlen

Thanks for this inspiring and useful review. Indeed, there's hardly something as important as saying people that you love them and care for them no matter what happens. And that's what I'm going to do immediately after I finish to write my essay.

Definitely a unique and great way to show you are thinking of someone. I love that they have items in there that will be useful. My mom could use this!
