DIY Projects Made Easy with HomeRight ~ Review & Giveaway

**The products for this review/giveaway were provided by HomeRight. All opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

I can easily find gifts for my kids when I need to, but when it comes to the men in my life like my dad and hubby, I have a difficult time finding the perfect gift. When Father's Day rolls around, I'm usually stumped and look for something that I know would be appreciated and used. That's why I was thrilled when I came across HomeRight.

For those who aren't familiar, HomeRight has been an innovator in the consumer painting industry for over 25 years! They have a passion for quality and a desire to exceed customer expectations. With a full line of power painting, automotive and home care products...they offer something for everyone!

With the intention for their products to make DIY tasks easier, faster and neater, I knew this would be a fabulous company to feature for Father's Day. After all, if the dad's in your life are anything like mine...DIY projects are quite common. And, anything to make them easier and more fun is much appreciated and makes for a great gift as well!

One of the first DIY projects my husband and I discussed doing this summer was our deck. In fact, it was my hubby's hope that it would be done in time for Father's Day. It was in desperate need of some TLC, as we hadn't touched it since moving in over two years ago! Thankfully, HomeRight had just the things we needed to make our deck makeover a success while keeping it easy, quick and neat! My hubby got his Father's Day wish!

We were sent the HomeRight Deck Washer Flow-Through Broom and StainStick with Gap Wheel

Our deck was dull and dirty, so before we stained we knew it needed a good clean and what better way to do that than with a Deck Washer Flow-Through Broom that not only scrubs the deck, but also sprays and washes it?!

This two in one product is a powerful scrubbing broom with water jet nozzles. It attaches to a normal garden hose and goes to work! It uses the power of water to scrub a surface clean while sweeping at the same time. It's one of those products that had me thinking, 'why didn't I think of that?!'.

The stiff bristles loosen and push debris, while the water cleans the area as you sweep. The broom has 14 high pressure, zero degree water jets to aid in cleaning which worked wonderfully for us. Thanks to the innovative design and 13" broom, we had the deck cleaned and ready for stain in no time!

My husband absolutely loves the Deck Washer Flow-Through Broom from HomeRight and has also used it to scrub clean the patio on the side of our house, our drive way and even the garage floors!

The StainStick with Gap Wheel is another fantastic product that we have been equally as thrilled with!

As we prepared to stain our deck we knew we'd need a pad to apply the stain easily. Thankfully we found that with the Deck Pro Stain Stick with Gap Wheel Stain Applicator and so much more! It not only helped us achieve a great look with the stain, but it made it super easy as well!

We simply had to fill the StainStick with stain and then began the process by feeding the stain to the applicator pad by pushing the handle. I love, love, loved this as it saved us a lot of time and hassle of having to go back and forth to the stain can or tray.

Not only is the StainStick wonderful, but the Gap Wheel Applicator as well! It has a spring loaded wheel that drops in-between the boards to finish both edges and boards at the same time. What a fantastic idea, huh?! It worked wonderfully for us, and gave our stained deck a finished look with very little bending down. The handle actually extends to 54 inches, so matter the height of the user, you can stand upright without bending.

Both of these products from HomeRight worked incredibly well to help us finish our deck makeover quickly and easily. My husband said he couldn't imagine having done it without them. In my opinion, these products are must-haves for any homeowner, both of which would make especially great Father's Day gifts!

Of course, the HomeRight Deck Washer Flow-Through Broom and StainStick with Gap Wheel are just two of the many great products offered at! I was also drawn to their Airless Paint Sprayers and the new SteamMachine Plus. These are a couple of products I could see as being great gifts for myself in the future!

Whether you're looking for a great Father's Day gift or simply products to make your DIY projects a little easier, I would highly recommend visiting HomeRight and checking out their great selection of products.

I like all of their products. The steamer is really neat too. We have so many decks on our beach house that needs this. The weather there surely ruins things so fast. I am going to share these products with my husband. We could use them for sure. Thanks for the information!! Lots of neat items for sure! Rita Spratlen
