New Satisfries French Fries from Burger King ~ Giveaway

Although we don't eat at restaurants or order-in very often, the times we do are usually when we're busy out running errands or in the car traveling. It's nice to find something that both adults and kids will like, which is why we were happy to learn about the new Satisfries at Burger King. 

Satisfries are the new great-tasting crinkle cut french fries that have 40% less fat and 30% fewer calories than the leading fries. Burger King is the first quick service restaurant to serve this unique reduced fat, reduced calorie french fry that has only 190 calories, 8 grams of fat and 210 milligrams of sodium for a value size serving. 

Just like most french fry recipes, Satisfries are made with thinly battered real whole potatoes. The difference is that the recipe for these fries ensures that they absorb less oil...only enough to keep each crinkle crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 

I've always liked the fries at Burger King so it didn't surprise me that 1 out of every 2 guests that comes into a Burger King orders french fries. In fact, in the US about 1/3 of potatoes are grown for use as French fried potatoes, either oven-baked or deep fried. 

With so many people eating french fries, I appreciate that Burger King has made the effort to make a fry that's better for consumers. When I first learned about Satisfries, I was curious how they would taste. Thankfully I was given the chance to find out!

We were given the opportunity to test out the new Satisfries and took our family along to try them too! All three of the kids loved them. My husband and I agreed that we actually preferred the Satisfries over the fries we normally get. It felt like we got a lot more french fry and they tasted just as great! I love that they are crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. 

Overall we were really happy with the new Satisfries. I was impressed with the taste and that we didn't have to sacrifice flavor for a healthier option when it comes to french fries. We will definitely order them again the next time we visit a Burger King.
