Pledge Ambassador FloorCare Wood Products ~ Review & SHORT Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Thursday, November 14, 2013

**I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pledge. I received a product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating

As I mentioned in a previous post, this is the time of year our family spends a lot of time indoors. The weather is colder and we're already starting to get snow! Needless to say, with the weather conditions outdoors and more time spent indoors, our wood floors take a lot more wear and tear. The scuffs, dirt and grime seem to be never ending.

I love how the wood floors look when they're clean, but keeping them clean has not always been an easy task. I am always looking for ways to make it easier, which is why I was thrilled when asked to be a Pledge Ambassador for their FloorCare Wood products!

Helping to tackle daily messes, they offer four product options that we were sent to review. Handling everything from spot cleaning and upkeep to conditioning and polishing, I was excited to have the opportunity to test them out!

Over the past couple of weeks we've had the chance to use these products on our wood floors. I find the easiest time to use them is when the kids are napping or sleeping at night. That way I have time to do all of the wood floors without them walking around on them.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I began using them, but have been pleasantly surprised. Not only are they simple to use, but they also have helped to renew the look of the floors.

I like to mop my floors, so I found that I used the Wood Squirt & Mop cleaner the most! It's a ready to use formula requiring no dilution before use which I appreciate as a busy mom. I love when cleaning is made easy! It's advanced formula removes dirt and grime that builds up. I was pleasantly surprised how well it removed dirt from the floors, while leaving no residue. I felt it really helped to reveal the wood's natural beauty (which is easier to see in person than in pictures).
Before (notice the smudges and dirty floor)

I also have liked the Pledge FloorCare Wood Finish which protects hardwood floors and helps prevent dirt from getting trapped in floor grooves and indentations, making cleaning much easier.

Other than the dirt and grime that builds up from walking on the floors, some of my toughest messes are when the kids spill. For these types of messes I really liked the Pledge FloorCare Wood Trigger. It's also a ready to use formula designed specifically for spot cleaning. It helps to clean, shine, restore and protect...and in my experience it's done a great job! Once again, there's no residue and a nice clean citrus scent left behind.

I have smudges and scratches like those seen in the following pictures. In the couple weeks we've been using these products I have been surprised how well they clean and how much better my floors look! In the first picture you can see how noticeable the scratches and scuffs are, compared to the 'after' picture.

I've been really happy with the Pledge FloorCare Wood products and would recommend checking them out to others who are getting their homes ready for the holidays!
