As I mentioned at the beginning of the month, our family was super excited to learn that Superbook was going to be televised on national television this summer!

For those who missed it, Superbook is a television series that delivers exciting Bible stories kids will enjoy watching again and again. Based on CBN's classic cartoon, the new, reimagined Superbook features amazing Bible stories brought to life using state-of-the-art animation. This award winning series engages children and teaches them the power truths of God's Word.

Several of the episodes aired this month! Our family tuned in, and also received 14 episodes of Superbook as part of the Superbook Summer Series to review.

We began from the beginning and worked our way through all 14 episodes over the past few weeks. It has been an amazing adventure, and such a wonderful time for our family to spend together. As noted on many of the episodes, parents are encouraged to preview them first, as some scenes may be too intense for younger children.

We previewed them beforehand, and decided we wanted our 5 year old and 3 year old to watch them with us. That way if they had any questions...we could be right there with them. I think that was a great choice since they are still pretty young. As we watched each of the episodes both of them had a lot of questions...especially my 5 year old. She is very curious and eager to learn more about these Bible stories and God.

We enjoyed watching the episodes in order, as it was a great refresher for us and a wonderful learning opportunity for our kids. We found them to be very Biblically accurate and a fantastic way for kids to really see and understand what happened and the importance in each story.

I love that there are young children in the cartoons that the kids can relate to. Each episode begins with an issue these children are having and applies the story to their problem. It's been fun to see my kids making sense of how the story relates to day to day life, making these Bible stories more meaningful and understandable for them. I LOVE it!

Each episode dvd comes with a family discussion guide which is probably one of my favorite parts. My kids had so many questions and were eager to learn more, so having a way to keep the conversation and learning going after we were finished watching each one has been wonderful! These Family Discussion Guides help children apply the important Bible lessons and truths in their lives.

As I'm sure you can tell, we've been thrilled with the Superbook series! They have been such a blessing to our family and I know others would love them as well! They do a great job of introducing children to the wonder of God's love through the stories of the Bible. Traveling from Creation to Revelation, my kids stayed entertained while learning powerful lessons about love and forgiveness.

We have enjoyed them so much, that we would like to keep adding to our DVD collection so we can continue watching these with our kids. That's why I was excited to learn that additional episodes of Superbook will be coming. We don't want to miss any of the excitement and fun!

If anyone is interested in learning more, or wanting to receive the newest Superbook episodes as they are released be sure to head over and join The Superbook DVD Club. Once you do, you will automatically receive each episode of the series. In addition, you will be sent two free copies of each new episode to share with your friends and loved ones. What a great way to share about the powerful truths of God's Word! To join, simply go to CBN.com/superbook and click on "Get Superbook".

When I was a little girl we used to watch Superbook all the time. Then when we were stationed in GA our kids got to watch the old episodes at our church. Glad they have new episodes out.
