As a busy mom of 3, there are those days when I just don't feel like making a big meal. This time of year especially, our family spends a lot of time outdoors making it difficult to find the time (and energy) to cook up healthy, delicious meals each night. That's why I started preparing freezer meals, and although I do like the convenience once it's all done, it still takes a lot of time to prepare. I'm always looking for ways to make meal time more convenient, while still allowing me to put healthy, yummy meals on the table for my family. That's why I was thrilled when introduced to Veestro!

With the convenience of fast food being so quick and easy, siblings Mark and Monica found it difficult to make healthy food choices. Not wanting to compromise nutrition for health any longer, they headed to the frozen food aisle which changed everything. One look at the backs of frozen meal boxes made them realize that they were loaded with ingredients they couldn't even pronounce. There was a need for frozen options that fit into their new commitment to whole foods and plant-based nutrition, so they teamed up with a world class gourmet chef and created a healthy, affordable, delicious vegan frozen food line.

Veestro makes healthy frozen meals that are made from scratch, using the freshest organic, non-gmo, whole foods ingredients. They ship anywhere in the US, and the best part is that the food comes frozen so you can have it in the freezer for those nights when you're just too busy (or too tired) to cook! Simply heat and enjoy!
As a busy mom Veestro seemed like the answer I've been looking for, for those nights that I'm just to busy to make a big, healthy meal for my family. I was thrilled when contacted by the company and asked if we'd like to review a variety of their wholesome frozen foods.

We were sent the following: Veggie Lasagna, Tofu Scramble Chocolate Chip Cookies, Kids Veggie Burger, Chicken Nuggets Appetizer, Cauliflower Soup, Mediterranean Skillet, Linguini Bolognese, Tortilla Soup, Veggie Burger Patty, Lentil Meat Loaf, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake.

I couldn't help but wonder how good these meals would be. I'm not a huge fan of the freezer meals at the store, so I wondered how these would compare. Thankfully, I've been very pleased and far more impressed than I expected!

I was impressed right from the start when the meals arrived. Each product was vacuum-packed and fresh frozen using the latest technology to optimize freshness. Everything arrived in an insulated shipping container, lined with 100% recycled EPS foam and packed with dry ice to keep the meals completely frozen.

I love to try new foods, so the variety we received was very much appreciated. As I looked over the Veestro frozen meals, I found that each one contained a label with a clear set of instructions for preparation as well as a list of ingredients. So, not only are Veestro meals convenient since they are already made, but the instructions are laid out right before you to make preparation a quick and easy!
I was excited to try out some of the foods and the picture below is just a glimpse of some of them! I found that the products can be microwaved, boiled or thawed in their original packaging. The fact that the meals arrive fully cooked is also appreciated as it makes preparation simple and quick!

In no time at all I've been able to put meals on the table. It's been nice to have such a nice variety to choose from. The kids have really enjoyed the Chicken Nuggets Appetizer and Chocolate Chip Cookies, while I've really been impressed by meals like the Veggie Lasagna, Linguini Bolognese, and my favorite...Tortilla Soup!
The first time I started heating up the food, I was amazed with the delicious aroma that filled the kitchen. It smelled like a restaurant! And the great news is...this wholesome food is just as amazing as it smells! It's very flavorful, fresh, and best of all...I love to know that we're enjoying all natural, preservative-free food that is high in protein and fiber, and packed with nutrients! All Veestro products are vegan, produced in a completely meat-free, fish-free, dairy free, egg-free facility.

Veestro is dedicated to providing healthy, affordable, delicious vegetarian meals and our family has been very impressed! They have proven to me that I don't have to sacrifice taste and convenience for health-conscious, nutritious food.

For those days when you're just too busy or too tired to cook, I would definitely recommend Veestro to other families, especially moms! We have found their food to be flavorful, convenient, and best of all...natural and free of preservatives!

If you're looking for delicious and easy healthy meals for your family, shipped fully cooked and ready to defrost, heat and enjoy...then do I have a deal for you...

All of their products are produced in a completely meat-free, fish-free, dairy-free, egg-free facility but Veestro meals are produced on a facility where nuts are processed.
