Baby & Mommy Must-haves Event #12: Jeep® Liberty Limited Urban Terrain Stroller Review & Giveaway

Baby #3 will be here in just over a month, which means I've been in serious nesting and "getting ready for baby" mode lately. As we prepare to add a third child to our family, we realize that going out and about may take some adjusting. We are used to being able to grab the double stroller and go. That however, will not be the case when we need a stroller for three children. The most practical solution is to have our double stroller for Kaelyn and Kaden and then a stroller which will hold our infant car seat so one of us can push around our new little one. After all..shortly after he/she is born, shopping season is in full gear and I have a feeling we'll be on the go a lot. Thankfully, we have found the answer we've been looking for thanks to Kolcraft!

Kolcraft began in 1946 when Leo Koltun made playpen pads out of cotton batting and oilcloth covers for post World War II babies. Anyone who has been reading here for a while knows what a HUGE fan I am of Kolcraft and their great line of high quality baby products. With a variety to choose from, they are the perfect place to shop for parents with little ones or babies on the way. I never get tired of browsing their user-friendly website, and happened to come across a stroller a couple of months ago that caught my attention instantly!

Reading down the list of features and benefits of this stroller, it seemed like every parents ideal single stroller. When it arrived, I was really excited to check it out.

Pulling it out of the box, I found all the pieces I needed to assemble the stroller. As always, anything with assembly required gets me feeling a little overwhelmed. I am never quite sure how long something will take to put together, but found I had no reason to be concerned at all. Assembling the Jeep® Liberty Limited Urban Terrain Stroller couldn't have been easier thanks to the very user-friendly step-by-step instructions!

I always love when instructions are clear and have pictures to go along with each step. Thankfully, these did which made putting it together a piece of cake. In a matter of 25 minutes or less, I had the stroller put together and ready to admire and use.

Right off the bat I was thrilled with the high quality fabric of the seat and durable materials used for the frame of the stroller. Everything seems very easy to clean and the strength and durability of this stroller seem top notch. With safety being of the utmost importance when it comes to any baby gear we use with our kids, this was definitely appreciated! I can tell the high quality will make this a stroller we'll be able to use for a very long time. YAY!

The fabric is also very comfortable and cushy for the kids and I love that the seat reclines for added comfort for them. When they're napping or it's sunny, we can simply pull the canopy and still keep an eye on them from the viewing window on the top. The canopy is really the perfect size...not too big and not too small either.

Another safety feature I appreciate is the grow-with-me 5 point harness which ensures that my kids are safe and secure when riding in the stroller. Whether it's Kaden or Kaelyn who have ridden in it, I'm able to fit the harness to each of them perfectly thanks to the adjustable shoulder straps and waist band.

The tires were another feature that stood out to me right away. The rugged 12" inflatable tires are big enough to ensure a smooth ride and grip all types of terrain. We go on walks all the time and find that whether we're walking on concrete, gravel or grass...this stroller truly does ride very smoothly and easily. The front wheel swivels easily and is great for smooth surfaces. On more rough surfaces, we have found the handy swivel wheel lock to come in very handy, as it locks the wheel to keep it straight.

When we're on the go, especially a long day of shopping...it's crucial to keep the kids occupied. That's why I absolutely love the unique entertainment tray with horn, car sounds & music! What a fantastic idea. When Kaden gets antsy, we simply turn on the the toy and he's able to play and entertain himself. I wish all strollers had this feature! The tray also easily detaches on one side and swivels so the kids can get in without a hassle.

A place for food and drinks is also important when it comes to a stroller. Thankfully, Jeep thought of this and included a dual cup and snack tray for the child, as well as a parent tray with deep cup holders. Again, another feature I wish ALL strollers had. I love when my kids have a place to easily eat their snack, and being the type of person who always has a water with me...I appreciate having a place to keep it where I can access it quickly.

The parent tray also houses a very unique iBaby sound system for iPod and MP3 players. This really sets this Jeep stroller apart from others I've seen and used. When we're out on our walks, I love having the capability to listen to music on the move. There's volume control to ensure that it's not too loud for baby, but still loud enough for parents to enjoy. The sound quality is much better than I expected. It's very simple to use and something I think many parents would love while they are strolling their little one around.

Lots of storage is another thing I look for in strollers, but unfortunately many of them are lacking the space parents need for things like diaper bags, shopping bags, jackets, etc. Thankfully, this Jeep Liberty Limited Jeep® Liberty Limited Urban Terrain Stroller has plenty! There's a large, roomy storage basket underneath, as well as a removable cargo bag on each side of the stroller. We use the storage basket for the diaper bag, jackets, etc and the cargo bags for napkins and pacifers. It's worked wonderfully!

I love so many features about this stroller, but the one that is my favorite would have to be that is compatible with select infant car seats, including the one that we own!! Those first few months we will be carrying our baby around in his/her car seat when we're out and about. It will make it a lot easier to have a stroller suitable to hold the infant car seat and baby! It couldn't be easier to use either!

With the stroller seat reclined, we simply placed the car seat in the seating area facing the handle of the stroller. With the car seat resting against the front tray and level, we then threaded the red infant car seat restraint belts (located in the side pockets on the stroller when not in use) through the clips on the top of the car seat. By tightening the belt as much as we could, we were able to secure the infant car seat easily. This is a feature I can't wait to use with our baby and one I know we will get a lot of use out of.

When it comes right down to it, the ease of use is huge when it comes to a stroller. If it's difficult to fold and unfold, I usually want nothing to do with it. I need something that's convenient when I have my kids with me at the store or mall. I have to say, this is probably the easiest stroller to fold and unfold which has me thrilled! Once the seat is fully reclined and the canopy is closed, you just push and hold the yellow button to left unlock position and squeeze the large yellow lever on handle to fold stroller. It easily pushes forward and folds up in seconds using just one hand.

We have had the opportunity to use this stroller a lot over the last couple of months. I am completely in love with its many user-friendly features and benefits that make it a great stroller for both baby and parent. The quality is fantastic, and the fact that it has a lot of storage, drink/snack trays, and entertainment for both adults and children is really great in my opinion. Who wouldn't love to have toys that attach to the stroller or music to listen to while you stroll around with your little one?! In my opinion it's really what sets this stroller apart and makes it a must-have for any parent with little ones...even newborns!
