I have to admit, when it came time to try it on, I was a little nervous. I never enjoy trying on swimsuits for fear of what I will think of it once I see it on. More often than not, I find myself discouraged by unflattering fit. Thankfully, that was not the case with this beautiful Badgley Mischka Swimsuit!Once I had the swimsuit on, all of my nerves were calmed. The swimsuit fits great! I'm thankful for the fact that The Orchid Boutique makes it easy to know which size to get. There's a 'size & fit' section on each swimsuit page which helps a buyer understand how sizes run for that brand (large, small, or true to size). There's also a helpful size chart that I used as well. Since this swimsuit ran true to size, I went with the size chart and am very happy I did. It's snug enough that I know it will stay on well, yet very comfortable at the same time.
With two little ones pulling at me left and right, I need a swimsuit that covers me and will stay on well. This swimsuit definitely fits that criteria! The thick shoulder straps are not only stylish and add to the design of the swimsuit, but they also seem to stay in place which I love!
The swimsuit also covers me well. I was a little nervous that it might be too low cut, but found that the top of the suit covers me perfectly. The bottom provides full coverage as well. No more having to readjust my swimsuit every time I get up from a chair or out of the water! YAY!Aside from the fact that this swimsuit fits and covers me well...I also love the design and style. I have owned some one-pieces in the past that are too simple and unflattering. The Draped Black One Piece Badgley Mischka swimsuit however, is very flattering. Between the maillot which provides built-in padding for shape and support and the draped design below bustline (which really makes the whole swimsuit if you ask me), this swimsuit definitely gives a look of timeless elegance. It's really beautiful and unique from other one-pieces. I am happy with the way it lays on me and feel that it's a very slimming style.
When it comes to swimsuits, finding quality, style and something that you feel comfortable wearing is worth paying a little more money for. I know I'll be able to enjoy this swimsuit for a long time and would definitely recommend The Orchid Boutique to others.
