Prince Lionheart pottyPOD™ Review & Giveaway

When we first began potty training our daughter Kaelyn, she was about 18 months old. Other than deciding how we were going to go about it, I was also focused on figuring out which potty would be best for her. Should it have a comfy seat? Did it need to have colors or sounds to make it more enticing for her? I really had no clue, and my husband and I found ourselves purchasing potty after potty, trying to find one that worked for her (and was convenient and easy to clean for us). Thankfully she was very easy to train, and in only a few weeks she was fully potty trained. Unfortunately, at that time we still had not found the right potty chair. I wanted something that was high quality, easy to clean and easy to use. Thankfully, I've found the perfect solution...and it couldn't be better timing with Kaden nearing the age to begin potty training.

You may remember the first review I did for them a few months ago. We are still loving the Prince Lionheart boosterPOD and can't believe we went so long with it! Having had such a great experience with this product, I couldn't have been happier when the Prince Lionheart pottyPOD arrived on our doorstep to review!

Of course, I couldn't wait to check it out either! As with the boosterPOD, I was immediately impressed by the quality. I love how durable it is, and best of all...the cushy seat allows for ultimate comfort! Not only that, but it's the only Anti-Microbial pottyPOD on the market! The soft, cushiony surface is actually treated with an EPA approved additive to inhibit the growth of microorganisms that may cause spoilage, odors and mildew. What a great feature to have!

Both kids were excited to try it out. Even Kaden who hasn't started officially potty training yet, LOVES to sit on it. I appreciate that the realistic look of this potty seat as well as the colors and fun appearance has made it so appealing to him and Kaelyn both.

Kaelyn has commented on how comfortable the seat is. For her the height adjustable base has come in very handy. It allows for the seat to grow with the child which means it works for kids at all stages. It's nice to know this is something that will last us!

The base also has non-slip grip strips which provides strength and stability. I don't have to worry about it moving around and the kids getting hurt while using it. We just love it!

Although it's been a big hit with the kids from the beginning, I couldn't help but wonder how easy it would be to clean. As a busy parent, I need for the products we use to be simple to use and easy to clean. Thankfully...the pottyPOD did not disappoint! The bowl and deflector shield are both removable and make clean up a breeze. Not only that, but there aren't nooks and crannies that get dirty and impossible to clean. The whole seat is very easy to wipe down and care for which has made using it so great! This potty definitely makes potty training easier for both parent and child!

One note about the deflector shield...I really love how tall and wide it is. We've seen and tried potties in the past that have a shield that doesn't serve its purpose. This one however, seems to work very well. As Kaden is using the potty more and more, I know we will really appreciate this feature a lot! As I said, it easily removes which is nice for when Kaelyn is using the potty too.

We have been very impressed with the Prince Lionheart pottyPOD! Not only is it comfortable and easy for the kids to use, but it's also very simple and quick to clean as well. If you're looking for an innovative potty chair that's easy to use and fantastic quality...I would highly recommend the pottyPOD. I'm so happy we were introduced to it and know it will be something both kids can use for a long time.
