Kaelyn has always been a little girl on the go. From the time she was a baby she has had a love for music and movement. The moment she hears music or sees people dancing on the television, she's up and moving. I am always on the lookout for ways to encourage this interest of hers which is why I love Prima Princessa.
You may remember our review back in June when we were introduced to Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake. It's a DVD featuring short clips of the world-renowned Paris Opera Ballet performing excerpts from Swan Lake and narrated by a cute cartoon fairy ballerina, Prima Princessa. Kaelyn absolutely loves it and never gets tired of dancing along. That's why I knew she'd be excited that we were going to have the opportunity to review Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker DVD.

lturally and intellectually enriching as well as fun!The moment Kaelyn saw the cover of Prima Princessa presents The Nutcracker she wanted to pop it in the DVD player! Before doing so, she ran to her room to put on a skirt and princess crown, which she always refers to as 'princess clothes'. Once she was ready, we began watching it...and again, Prima Princessa did not disappoint!
This adorable DVD features England's famed Birmingham Royal Ballet performing "The Nutcracker"...the classic Christmas ballet filled with snow fairies, waltzing flowers and toys soldiers. Between the students from the New York City Ballet's School of American Ballet and the children her own age dancing and giving her 'mini-dance lessons'....this was something that kept Kaelyn's attention the whole time. Once again, the cute cartoon ballerina, Prima Princessa, narrates as the show goes on. I think that, and the little girls, are Kaelyn's favorite part!
She loves to dance along, and even her brother enjoys watching it!
I was impressed with all the fun bonus features as well...holiday crafts, holiday baking and of course, fun dancing!We love this Prima Princessa DVD just as much as the first and have had loads of fun watching Kaelyn as she dances along. It's a fun, interactive and educational experience that young children everywhere are sure to love. With the holidays just around the corner, this 60 minute DVD would be perfect for any little princess.

How cute! I love the princess clothes and that Kaden gets into watching this as well - who said that boys can't be princess ballerinas? :)
