Fresh Baby So Easy Baby Food Kit Review & Giveaway

I want nothing but the best for my kids. This not only includes the products we use in our home, but also the foods they eat. I knew from the moment I became a mom that I wanted to make their baby food from scratch...and was able to do so with Kaelyn and now with Kaden. It helps gives me peace of mind knowing what is going into their food and that it is as healthy for them as possible.
Fresh Baby was born in October 2002 when two women, Cheryl and Joan, began developing products for today's busy parents and caregivers. It was, and continues to be their desire to give them the products and tools necessary to make making homemade baby food easy, healthy and delicious. Their product line includes homemade baby food kits, baby food cookbooks, baby food and breast milk storage trays, breastfeeding reminders, and child development diaries.

I was very excited when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review the So Easy Baby Food Kit, the result of Cheryl and Joan's personal baby food making experience and a lot of research. Including a cookbook, storage trays, how-to DVD, and tip card, this kit provides families with everything they need to get started in creating homemade meals for their babies.

I was really excited when the So Easy Baby Food Kit arrived. As I opened the box, I was very impressed with all that's included. It's truly an all-in-one kit that shows you how to prepare fresh meals for your baby and gives you the tools to do so more easily.

I thought the So Easy Baby Food cookbook may be fairly simple and wasn't quite sure what to expect. When I first saw it I was amazed with the quality. It's a hardcover cookbook that covers introducing solid food, over 40 recipes, hundreds of serving suggestions and so much more! I've already had the chance to use it several times while making food for Kaden and absolutely love the fact that it's organized by age. I can go to the 8-10 months section and find everything I need to get started. Anything that makes the whole process even easier is much appreciated, so this great.

The How-to DVD is a great addition as well. It offers step-by-step instruction from selecting the right product, to making the baby food, to serving it. Again, this is something that makes getting started easier than ever.

The Nutrition tips card gives you tips on the best sources of nutrients, introducing foods by age, and more! I wasn't sure how much I would use something like this, but have been amazed with how many times I've referred to it already! I actually have it hanging in my kitchen so it's readily available. I love the fact that it has info on first aid for choking, first foods by age, and common baby ailments and what foods to avoid and what foods might help them. It's really a neat resource and something every parent (whether they make their own baby food or not) would find helpful.

I'd have to say one of my favorite items included are the freezer trays for baby food. Making baby food is not just about making the food, but also about storing it in the best way possible. That's why I love these trays! They are designed for storing baby food in pre-portioned one ounce servings to simplify meal time and reduce waste. There are 2 trays and 2 lids. I really like the lids! They stack easily, are BPA and phthalate-free, and dishwasher-safe. They are great quality and something I know will last us a very long time!

I have had the opportunity to use the freezer trays many times already and am very happy with how easy they are to use. It's great being able to freeze the food and pull out cubes as needed.

I absolutely love the So Easy Baby Food Kit. It truly has made making Kaden's baby food so easy and convenient. I wish I had had it when Kaelyn was younger...it would have saved me a lot of time and headaches. This would make a terrific gift for any new mom! I highly recommend checking it out.
