Martha Speaks, Super Why! and Caillou ~ New DVDs Released THIS Week!

Kaelyn doesn't watch a lot of television, but when she does there are a few she asks to watch time and time again. Her top favorites would definitely be three popular PBS Kids programs...Caillou, Martha Speaks and Super Why! That's why I was so excited when I learned Paramount Home Entertainment released three dvds featuring these great children's programs on July 20, 2010!

We were sent Martha Speaks: Martha Goes to School, Caillou: Caillou's Fun Outside! and Super WHY! Attack of the Eraser to review.

I had planned to save them for another day, but the moment they arrived, Kaelyn spotted them and couldn't wait to watch them. She was SO excited! Over that next week we watched all three DVD's more than once. They are fun and wholesome...perfect for kids of all ages. I had a feeling Kaelyn would love them all, and I was right! When she is allowed to pick out a DVD to watch...it's one of these that she asks for first.

Caillou's Fun Outside! is probably her favorite. There's something about this beloved little boy that keeps her begging to watch more. In this DVD, Caillou is back in four new-to-DVD episodes featuring 14 fun-filled outdoor adventures. Caillou is ready to teach kids about nature, patience, creativity and outdoor activities...which is perfect for this time of year. I have to admit I even enjoyed it! The DVD also includes interactive games, music videos, parents' information and coloring pages.

Martha Goes to School was equally as loved by Kaelyn! She is only 2 1/2 years old, but is always talking about going to school someday. Not only does she love Martha, but the topic was right on! In this DVD, the beloved family dog, Martha, has a lot to say. She and her family discover hundreds of new words to teach children and features eight new-to-DVD episodes! There are also printable coloring pages and resources for parents too.

Super Why! is a program Kaelyn recently started getting more interested in. It was fun to see her enjoying it so much. In the Super WHY! Attack of the Eraser, Super Why and his super friends go to new and exciting places. This new-to-DVD release is all about the super friends as they practice spelling, use the power to read, and investigate rhyming wrods in order to change the outcome of the story and ultimately save the day. Super Why! Attack of the Eraser includes four exciting and educational adventures, music videos, resources for parents and printable activities and coloring pages.

We are very happy with all three DVDs. They have been enjoyed by all and will continue to be for a very long time! It's great knowing that Kaelyn has such educational, fun and kid-friendly DVDs to watch thanks to PBS Kids and Paramount Home Entertainment!
