The older my kids get, the more they enjoy playing games. I love to find games that are appropriate for all three of them (ages 2,4, and 6) to play together which is why I love Educational Insights!

I was in the market for some new games my kids could play this summer, which is why I was excited to have the opportunity to review both the Diggity Dogs and Kitten Caboodle games!

When they arrived, I was impressed right away with the size of these games. I love that they are small and compact making them easier to store than the larger games we own!

Of course, myself and the kids were all looking forward to checking the game out. I was happy to find very user-friendly instructions and games that were easy enough for even my youngest son! Both games have a similar idea...

In the Diggity Dogs game, players draw from the stack or 'go fish' from another player's hand to collect cards that match all of the pet necessities and accessories of the dog they want to adopt. These items are listed on the card with the dog...so even the youngest players know what they're looking for. The person who adopts the most dogs wins this preschool matching game!

The Kitten Caboodle game is the same, except kids are collected the cards that match the cat's necessities. Once they got the hang of one, the other was a piece of cake too!

My oldest two are familiar with the 'go fish' style of card game so they caught on quickly to this fun game! All three really loved that the games featured cute and cuddly animals...that peaked their interest even more!

And best of all, they're learning and they don't even realize it!! These games help to develop matching skills, counting skills as well as encourage social skills and turn taking!

We've been very happy with these two games and play them a lot! I love that my kids can play them independently and learn as they go! I would definitely recommend these to other families with younger children.
