innovativeKids Fun & Educational Products for Kids ~ Review

Posted by Jenna | Tuesday, February 19, 2013

As a mom of three, and a former teacher...I am always looking for activities and toys that are both fun and educational! I also want the things we buy for our kids to hold up and last for a long quality is also very important. I love that I can count on innovativeKids for all that and more!
The goal of innovativeKids is to bring the best of fun and learning to children around the world. They create unique books, games, toys and puzzles for children birth to 12+ with the belief that having fun is the best way to learn....and more fun, means more learning!

I was introduced to innvoativeKids a couple of years ago, and each time I visit their website I'm impressed with the variety of unique, educational products offered. No matter what age your child is...they have something that is sure to entertain.

As a fan of innovativeKids I was very excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review a couple of their amazing products. We were sent the Poke-A-Dot 10 Little Monkeys book and the ABC Animals Giant Floor Puzzle to review.

When the products arrived, all three of my kids were excited to check them out! Kaelyn and Kaden LOVE puzzles, so they were drawn to the Giant Floor Puzzle right away.
I absolutely love the quality of this puzzle. My kids are not always the most gentle with their toys, so it gives me peace of mind to know that this puzzle is made well and will last us a long time!

It is also a great size and very colorful which are two things I appreciate as well. The size of each piece are perfect for little hands. They're easy to hold onto and manipulate. It also pieces together to form a large puzzle which the kids love. They always comment on how great they feel to have put together such a "big" puzzle! I love seeing them get excited, and best of all...they're learning at the same time!

Both Kaelyn and Kaden love pointing out the colorful animals, colors and letters. It's neat to watch them work together to make the alphabet and teach one another along the way. This puzzle has been loved so much, and very educational for both kids. It's perfect for their ages (3 & 5) and I would definitely recommend it to other parents of young children.

Of course, then there's 1 year old. He saw the Poke-A-Dot book and was very eager to check it out. I've noticed over the past several months that he loves to sit and look at books...especially interactive books.
What I love about the 10 Little Monkeys book, is that it's a fun, tactile book for all ages! Kaelyn and Kaden enjoy it for the counting aspect, and Caysen LOVES it for the poppin' dots! This is such a fantastic idea for a book!

On each page there are raised buttons that pop in. Kids can press them as they count. Caysen loves to press them as we read the story and gets very excited with his accomplishment! It's great to see him enjoying books, and I love knowing that he's already learning those important fine motor skills. I know this is the stepping stone to helping him learn counting and one-to-one correspondence down the road and think it's a fantastic place to begin!

I absolutely love this hands-on book and the story is really cute too! In fact, I think it's so wonderful that I have already purchased one for my niece who turns 1 this month! I know she'll love it. I would definitely recommend this and the other Poke-A-Dot books to parents with little ones. SO.MUCH.FUN!

As you can probably tell, we were really happy with the products sent to us by innovativeKids! Once again, they did not disappoint. The products have offered hours of fun and learning...who could ask for more?!
