Summer Infant Take Two Booster Seat ~ Review & Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Thursday, June 14, 2012

Summer is always a busy time for our family. We like to take family trips and vacations, and with little ones...that means planning in advance to make sure we have everything we will need...including all the baby gear! The problem is...there are times when fitting it all in the vehicle is easier said than done. That's why we're always on the lookout for compact items that are easy to take with us, as well as those that can be used at home. That's why I love Summer Infant!

Summer Infant is dedicated to bringing parents a large selection of products that are both safe and sensible for little ones...they have made it their mission to be make this "the best time of your life'. I love how Summer Infant puts their heart and soul into everything they design which is why I am a huge fan of their company and products.

I am always happy to hear of new products Summer Infant comes out with, and couldn't have been happier to learn that we were going to have the opportunity to review one of them.

Summer Infant sent us the Take Two Booster Seat.
  • Booster seat &  clip-on booster - ALL IN ONE!
  • Easy to clean removable seat pad, machine washable
  • Removable and dishwasher safe tray
  • Ultra compact folding design for storage and portability
  • 3-point restraint system
  • Neutral color palette blends in with today's home d├ęcor
  • Chair straps secure booster to chair
  • Chair hooks included to use booster as a hook-on booster and securely attaches to the table

The Summer Infant Take Two Booster Seat couldn't have arrived at a better time. Caysen had just begun to sit up at the table with us and eat some solid foods. Not only that, but we were in the middle of planning a vacation to Colorado which we recently got back from.

As I pulled it out of the box, I found all of the pieces necessary for the booster seat and clip-on booster. The best part is, thanks to the user-friendly was super easy to get set up. YAY!
For our needs, we use it as a booster seat so that's how I set it up. However, I do LOVE that it can be used as a clip-on booster as well. This is especially nice when family gets together and there may not be an extra chair to strap the booster seat too. What a great thing to have it all-in-one!

The booster seat is small, but great quality! It also suits our needs perfectly. I absolutely love the neutral design and the fact that the super cute seat pad is easy to clean and removable so it can be machine washed!

One thing I noticed right away, and appreciate very that safety was made top priority when designing this convenient booster seat. Between the 3-point restraint system and chair straps to secure the booster to the chair...I know Caysen is safe and comfortable while sitting in it. In fact, he LOVES it!

Not only do I appreciate the quality and safety, but also the fact that it's an extremely compact booster seat, and portable too! When Kaelyn and Kaden were babies, we would carry (or should I say lug) around our old high chair with us when we visited family, went on vacation, etc. It was not compact and took up a lot of room in our already crowded vehicle. That's why I love the idea of having an ultra compact folding booster that is great for travel and storage.

With summer here, we travel and are on the go a lot. In fact, we recently went on a trip to Colorado and took the Take Two Booster Seat along with us. It took up very little room in the vehicle, and better yet...we had a high chair wherever we went. We used it in the motel room, the motel dining room, even restaurants! He was able to sit up and eat his solid foods in a chair that was comfortable and suited for him perfectly.
I just love the fact that the booster seat and tray all fold down into an easy to carry bag. It's super easy to fold and unfold, as well as carry from place to place. This is seriously one of these neatest portable baby gear items I've seen. In the time we've had it we've already gotten a lot of use out of it and I know, will continue to over the coming months and years! I love that the carry bag is part of the booster seat, so I don't have to worry about losing the beg. It just folds up under the booster seat nicely.

If you're looking for versatility, convenience, portability and quality when it comes to a booster seat, I would definitely recommend checking out the Summer Infant Take Two Booster Seat! We love it!
