Toe Juice with DermaVine ~ Head to Toe Skin Care Product Review

Posted by Jenna | Thursday, May 10, 2012

I struggle with dry, cracked skin on my hands and feet many months out of the year. Along with mild eczema, this is something that I've dealt with for several years and am always looking for a something that will give me some relief. That's why I was excited to learn about Toe Juice!

In 1970, Royce Garner, a high school science teacher in Boise, Idaho, produced his first batch of Toe Juice®. His endeavor began when his infant son had flaking, dry, cracked feet. The many lotions and creams were ineffective and messy. So Royce did some research, went to his lab, and came out with a revolutionary new product. Not only did it fix and prevent further complications with his son's feet, but over the years many friends, family, and acquaintances have benefited from the strength of Royce's Toe Juice®. Those who benefited from the fast drying liquid, often encouraged Royce to take it public....and so he did!

Toe Juice is a head to toe skin care product that is commonly used for itchy dry skin, stinky feet, eczema, and many other skin related problems. It used an alcohol base to deliver a unique blend of plant extracts to the skin in a natural way. It has been used for a variety of purposes from Athlete's Foot to Warts and everything in between (visit the Toe Juice website to see the common conditions it has known to help.)

As I read more about Toe Juice, what stood out to me as making it different from other products is DermaVine®... the power behind Toe Juice®. Using a blend of plant-based extracts DermaVine®
enhances the skin’s natural repairing ability and contains willow bark, lemon peel, and Cinnamonum extracts. I was also happy that it is safe for newborns, the elderly, pregnant and nursing women, diabetics, all ethnicities, etc. Many products are not safe to use with all age groups, head to toe...so this was a huge plus in my book!

When asked if we'd like to review Toe Juice, I happily said yes. I will admit, as with any product I try on my skin...I was a little hesitant as to how well it would work, especially since it contains alcohol. Wouldn't it dry out my skin more?! Since using it, I've learned that it does the opposite. Alcohol alone does dry out the skin, but Toe Juice is an alcohol-based liquid infused with DermaVine. When applied to the skin, the alcohol evaporates very quickly while the DermaVine absorbs and penetrates the skin providing relief to dry skin and can eliminate bacterial, fungal and viral contaminants. It actually helps to repair the skin more quickly.

As I said, we were sent a few of the Toe Juice products, and I began using it on my dry feet. I have one spot in particular near my ankle that gets very sore and raw. I was hopeful Toe Juice would help...and it has! My skin is noticeably softer and does not seem to feel as dry and raw anymore. It does have a strong smell when putting it on at first, however it quickly goes away. Overall, it seems to be very effective for what I've been using it for, and I'm happy to have it on hand to use with rashes, bug bites, etc. I will definitely be trying it on my eczema flare ups that I get on my arms, as well as my son's eczema flare ups as well!

We were also sent a sample of the Hog Wash infused with DermaVine which is specially formulated to naturally promote new skin growth, leaving hands clean, soft and hydrated. I have been equally as impressed with it for my hands. It was created by request from nurses who were using Toe Juice after long days at the hospital and were experiencing dry skin from washing and sanitizing their hands numerous times a day.

Using the Toe Juice with DermaVine, I found it to be fast drying and non greasy which I really appreciate. I love that's it all natural and plant based, which makes me feel good about not only using it on myself, but my kids if I need to as well. I would definitely recommend checking it out at ToeJuice.com!
