It's hard for me to believe that Caysen is nearly 5 months old already. Where do the months go?! As much as I'd love to keep him my little baby forever, I must face the fact that my little boy is growing right before my eyes. He's rolling all over the place, smiling, laughing, and getting stronger each day. I want to encourage him as he grows and learns new things, which is why I am always on the lookout for products that will help me do just that.

I came across Mamas & Papas about a year ago, and always enjoy browsing through their great selection of products. When Caysen was around 3 months old, his head control was getting better and he preferred sitting up to see us, rather than laying flat on his back. That's why the Baby Snug from Mamas & Papas stood out to me right away, and I couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one!

When it comes to any gear I use with my kids, I want safety to come first. That's why I was happy to find that the quality of the Baby Snug to be top notch. It's durable and something I can tell will last us a long time! Not only that, but the surface is one that is easy to clean and great for indoor or outdoor use.

I was also happy to find that the seat is lightweight. Whether we're playing inside, outside, or taking a trip to the Grandparent's house...I like knowing that this seat is easily portable and can go with us wherever we need it to. We're headed on vacation in a couple of months, and this is definitely one thing we'll be taking. The size is great, and the fact that it has a removable tray will aid in play time and snack time. Caysen has already enjoyed having his toys within reach on the tray. It has come in very handy!

What makes this baby seat so unique, is that it is a two stage seat that is ergonomically designed to provide support and comfort as a child grows. The 1st stage is for use when baby can support their own head (from 3 months approx.). The 2nd stage is for when baby outgrows the 1st stage seat (from 12 months approx). To adjust, simply remove the soft seat insert and the Baby Snug will last baby as he/she grows.

When the seat arrived, Caysen was nearing 4 months old so we have been using it in the 1st stage. It has been fantastic! From the first time I put him in the Baby Snug, I can tell he is extremely comfortable. It helps support him while he sits, while also being a comfortable place for him to be and play.

I love that it is designed to help support his back while he sits up. It keeps him snug and in place. It is very stable and the wide base gives me peace of mind that he is safe while sitting in it.

Of course, one of the most important things is that Caysen is happy sitting in it...and he is! Whether we're inside or outside, he loves to sit and watch his surroundings while playing with his toys. It's definitely something we'll be using often over the coming months. Once he's a bit older, we'll take out the soft seat insert which allows this seat to grow with him.

Overall we've been thrilled with the Baby Snug from Mamas & Papas and would definitely recommend it to other parents. The quality is fantastic, it's safe, comfortable and grows with a baby...what more could you ask for?!
