We recently moved to a new home, and one of the things we love most is our large, flat yard. The house we lived in previously had a hilly yard and no place for the kids to ride their bikes and other ride-on toys. Thankfully, we now have plenty of room which has had me on the lookout for great toys like this for the kids to enjoy. That's why I was happy when introduced to the new bug-themed ride-on toy from QuickSmart!

With as much time as we've been spending outdoors lately, I knew the Scuttle Bug would be a great toy for the kids. When it arrived, I was not only happy with the small size of the box, but also the fact that the product comes fully assembled!! As a busy stay at home mom, I don't have a lot of time to put toys together, so this was greatly appreciated. All I had to do was pull it out of the box, unfold it and let the kids enjoy.

Unfolding and folding the Scuttle Bug couldn't be easier. To unfold, simply pull each of the three wheels out until they are in place. Folding is just as easy, and the pinch-free design makes it safe for little hands.

I was thrilled with the small size. Whether it's folded or unfolded, it's very compact and super cute! We got the red/ladybug design and the kids absolutely love it!

Kaelyn is 3 and is able to use it, but her legs are getting a little long for it. Kaden however (who is almost 2), loves it and is the perfect size. He easily moves his feet along and rides it for long lengths of time. It reminds me a lot of a traditional tricycle with fixed position, non-scratch wheels (making it great for indoors, as well as outdoors!). The more he uses it, the more he gets the hang of steering it and moving along faster.

I for one love how portable it is. If we're headed out of town to visit family we can simply fold it up and it's compact enough to easily throw in the car or even in a bag. The fact that it's so lightweight also makes taking it from place to place a piece of cake.

Overall we've been very happy with the Scuttle Bug ride-on toy from QuickSmart! It's not only adorable, but very well-made, convenient and super easy for even the youngest of riders to use. Both my kids absolutely adore it and I foresee this being a toy that we pull out to play with a lot more over the coming months and years.

Much like the Scuttle Bug, QuickSmart also has created the Scramble Bug. The Scramble Bug is for ages 1-3 and features four (instead of three) quiet castor wheels that can move 360 degrees for free-flowing movement. This toddler ride-on toy is also very portable and comes in two cute character designs.
