Baby & Mommy Must-haves Event #7: Magic Cabin Playpod Activity Center Review & $50 GC Giveaway

As a mom of two with another one arriving soon, I know how overwhelming it can be to walk through the baby isles. With so many choices, how does a parent know what items to get, and which they can live without?! I've learned that the products that grow with my kids and can be used in several ways are the best and allow us to get the most out of our money. I am always on the lookout for unique baby and children's products, which is why I love Magic Cabin!
Magic Cabin began in 1989 as a small doll company and has since grown to include a large selection of kid-powered, simple toys that are sturdy, safe and fun. It is their belief that children's lives are enriched by ample time for open-ended, creative, imaginative play and have been guided by that notion since the beginning.

Offering everything from doll toys to games and crafts...Magic Cabin is a site I could browse for hours on end if I had the time. Their selection of high quality toys is absolutely amazing. With baby #3 on the way, I've enjoyed browsing their baby category and have found many useful products. I was thrilled to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one!

When the product arrived, I was really pleased with the size. It's generously sized which is perfect for one child or even multiples. The pillow is extremely cushy and something babies and kids of all ages can enjoy.

I also appreciate the soft, adorable fabric. Not only is it neutral...which is perfect since we are choosing to be surprised with the gender of our baby...but it also easily comes off and is machine washable. Having something that is so easy to clean is a must...especially with babies and all the spit up and other messes. I love that much thought was put into creating this product and making it great for babies and parents alike!

Of course, what makes the Playpod so unique, is it's many features. It can be used as an at home or on-the-go lounge and play center to provide hands-free playtime for a newborn all the way up through the early reader age. The tall, cushioned sides and ring design help parents prop up their baby safely, yet it's still large enough to even hold my 2 year old and 4 year old while they read, play and rest.

Kaden enjoys laying in it to look at books, rest, and even watch tv. It's perfect for down time.

Kaelyn on the other hand, loves to sit in it and read her books. It provides the perfect, comfy place to sit back and relax with a good book.

For little ones, there's also three teether tabs which come in very handy for babies who are in that stage of chewing and sucking on toys. The tabs help keep the toys in place.

The Playpod also makes for a great place to store toys. Simply put toys inside, wrap the mat around the ring and voila! It keep toys secure and the carrying handle allows you to easily take it with you if you're on the go.

It's compact design really makes it a convenient product for parents. I can see this coming in especially handy when we're visiting family and friends over the holidays. My kids love it, and I can't wait to use it with our little one too! I know this will be a favorite lounge area for all of my kids for years to come!

Overall I've been very happy with the versatility, quality and overall appeal of the Playpod. I would definitely recommend it to parents with little ones.
