Coloring Fun Anytime, Anywhere! Doodle Roll Review & Giveaway

As both of my kids get older, one of their favorite things to do is color, draw and for Kaelyn...write. Whether it be a visit to Grandma's house, a long wait at the restaurant or a rainy day that has us stuck indoors...I always know that a pack of crayons and some paper is all it takes to get my kids using their creative imaginations and an activity they can do for a very long time. The problem is, it's not always the most convenient to grab a stack of paper or big box of crayons....especially when we're on the go. That's why I was thrilled when introduced to The Doodle Roll!
The Doodle Roll was invented by Diana and Marc Cooper....two parents who wanted to develop a product that would allow children to expand and express their creativity and imaginations while having fun. With a goal to offer safe, useful and fun products that are environmentally friendly...The Doodle Roll Activity Kit was born.

The Doodle Roll is recommended for children 3+ and available in 4" by 15 feet long or 6" by 30 feet long of doodling paper. Each kit is conveniently packaged in a container with crayons. Having two kids who love to color, I couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review both sizes.

When The Doodle Rolls arrived, I was immediately impressed with the way they are packaged. I love that both kits are very compact and offer everything a child needs to have fun doodling, anytime, anywhere.

The durable packaging conveniently holds 4 or 8 crayons depending on the size of The Doodle Roll...as well as a roll of doodling paper. I love that both can be stored in the container securely and in an organized way so we can use them easily at home or on the go. The great size makes it ideal for throwing in a diaper bag. Best of all...it's clean up is super easy too!

When it came time to test them out, my kids were very excited! The Doodle Rolls couldn't be easier to use! In no time at all I had them set up and ready for them to use. Simply open the dispenser to access the paper. Close and snap the dispenser shut and roll out the desired length of paper you would like. This keeps the paper flat and in place which is great for little ones especially!

By simply opening the crayon caddy on the other side of The Doodle Roll, the kids have their crayons accessible to them as well.

I often keep the paper attached while the kids are coloring and creating because there are times they want to continue at a later time. When this happens I simple roll it back into the dispenser until next time. Once they are finished and want to hang their masterpiece, there is a handy tear edge to rip off the portion you're finished with.

We have had the opportunity to use these Doodle Rolls several times and many different situations. It's a fun way to make coloring more convenient, especially during these summer months when we're on the go a lot. In the next couple of months we have a couple of vacations we're going on, one which will include a plane ride. I have a feeling these will come in handy for times like that as well!

Overall we've been very impressed with The Doodle Roll and are so happy to have been introduced to such a fun way to doodle! The quality and convenience are great, and best of all...my kids can create and use their imaginations no matter where we're at. It's definitely a product I would recommend to other parents with young children!
