When Kaelyn was a baby she was sleeping through the night at around 6 weeks old. Our son on the other hand, was around 10 weeks. Poor little guy struggled with reflux the first few months and couldn't seem to get comfortable...especially at night! We tried several things, but found very little relief for him. At some point we plan to have a third baby and I want to be prepared with ways to make them comfortable if acid reflux is an issue. That's why I was excited to learn more about a great product from Summer Infant.

Having used several products from Summer Infant over the years, I am a huge fan of their high quality, innovative products for little ones. That's why I was more than happy when asked to feature their Tummy Comfort Positioning Seat.

When the Tummy Comfort Positioning Seat arrived, I was very eager to check it out.

Upon pulling it out of the box I found there was very little assembly required...yay! When it comes to baby gear, parents don't have a lot of time to mess with a bunch of pieces to put together so this was great!

Following the user-friendly instructions included, I snapped the four feet into place (they were even labeled A & B which helped a lot) and put the two screws in. The seat was ready to go in no time at all!


As I checked it out, I was immediately impressed with the super soft, cushioned seat. Between that and the sturdy frame, the quality is exactly what I would expect from Summer Infant. Once again, they did not disappoint! I love the breathable mesh which helps to prevent overheating too. The cover also slips off and is machine washable which is a must when it comes to any baby product in my opinion.

Safety is also very important, and something I have found is a priority of Summer Infant as well. I was happy to see that there is a 5 point harness system to keep baby safe and secure when in the seat. The straps are adjustable so you can find the perfect, secure and comfortable fit for your little one.

The feet have a rubberized bottom on them which is another safety feature I appreciate. This ensures that the Tummy Comfort Positioning Seat doesn't move around when the baby is in it.

Although this Tummy Comfort Positioning Seat looks, and can be used much like an infant bouncer seat, it's actually much more than that! It is unique in that it was specifically designed for babies with acid reflux. I only wish that I had something like this for Kaden when he was younger (and am happy that I will have it for future babies just in case they struggle with the same thing). I did not find anything like this on the market at the time and am happy that Summer Infant has thought of it. It certainly can be used by any baby as a bouncer seat, however...its one of a kind design gently elevates your little one at the recommended 30 degree angle for optimal comfort after or during feedings which makes it absolutely perfect for babies with acid reflux.


To help sooth little ones even more, there's a vibration feature to help baby relax. Both my kids always enjoyed sitting in a seat that vibrated. I think this is a terrific addition to an already well-thought out infant seat with many benefits for little ones. The vibration unit requires 3 AA batteries (not included). I really appreciate that the unit has an auto-shut off feature too. It will shut off after 20 minutes to conserve battery power which is great...especially since parents go through many batteries with baby gear those first few months.

The size of this seat is made to accommodate babies birth to 4 months (or until baby can roll over). I personally think this is perfect, as it's the first few months that babies often struggle with acid reflux and getting comfortable after feedings the most.

I honestly think Summer Infant has thought of everything to make this a great seat to keep babies comfortable after and during feedings. It's also convenient for parents and super easy to use. Setting it up takes no time at all..simply push the lock buttons on each side and extend the support leg to use. You can hear it click to know it has locked which I really like.

And, closing it is just as simple. All you do is push the support leg back, push in the lock buttons and fold it up. I was very impressed with how small and compact it folds up too. I remember wishing there was a way to keep Kaden comfortable when we were away from home, and know the portability of this product would have been perfect. It folds nicely for easy travel when going to a motel, Grandma and Grandpa's house, etc. It is also a nice size for storing too.

I have been very impressed with the Tummy Comfort Positioning Seat. The quality is great, and I love that so much thought went into making it a great infant seat for babies with acid reflux. I am so happy to have it for when we have more children and would highly recommend it to parents with little ones who struggle with acid reflux. Not only will it make them more comfortable, but it will give you peace of mind.

I have always enjoyed decorating my home, but there's something extra special about personalizing my kids' rooms. Although the kids have different items with their names on them, they nothing that quite compares to the personal touch NameFrame.com offers. It's much more than personalizing with a name...being able to display pictures of a child within in the Name Frame is what really makes this product unique. I couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one!

I have to admit, that although I was excited to make a Name Frame for Kaelyn, I couldn't help but wonder how difficult it would be to create online. Thankfully, any hesitations I had were put to rest the moment I got started. The process couldn't have been easier.

First, I began with entering Kaelyn's name.

I then went on to select the font, frame and matting colors I preferred all done with the click of a mouse). I decided to go with a simple font and brown and pink colors to go with her room. I even added a cute heart 'ornament' on two of the corners to give it an even more personalized touch.

Once I had everything set the way I wanted, I was given two choices: to checkout and add photos myself after the frame arrived (each letter is designed to accept standard 4x6 photos) or to upload my photos and arrange them how I wanted right online so the frame would arrive completed.

Since all of my pictures were taken from my digital camera and already on my computer, I decided to upload them, arrange them and have the frame ready when it arrived. Even this part of creating my Name Frame was very simple. In no time I had the frame ready to order!
I'm so glad NameFrame.com gave me the chance to go through the creating and ordering process. It gave me a better understanding of how their site works and just how easy it is. Once I had it ready to go, I couldn't wait to see it in person. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long at all. It arrived very quickly and honestly blew me away!

As I pulled the Name Frame out of the box, I was happy to see that much care went into packaging it so that it would arrive safely.

Unwrapping it, I was immediately impressed with the quality. Online it's hard to tell what the quality of the frame will be like. I was very pleased to see that it is durable and something that will hold up for years to come.

I also though the colors were even more beautiful in person and couldn't have been happier with how great the pictures turned out. I was a little concerned they would be blurry or not look right...but it looks exactly how I had arranged them online. It's absolutely perfect!!

Even hanging it was a breeze. There's a simple hook on the back that makes hanging it on a screw or nail very easy. In no time I had it up in Kaelyn's room for everyone to enjoy. The size 10 5/8" x 20 5/8" frame is really perfect for any room. It's small enough that it can still be hung almost anywhere, but large enough that it stands out for anyone who enters Kaelyn's room to see.

I couldn't be happier with this Name Frame. Kaelyn was tickled to have something so personal hanging in her room. She loves looking at the pictures and also enjoys pointing out the letters in her name. This is one of the neatest personalized items I've come across...something that displays pictures of my little girl beautifully and a keepsake I know we will cherish for years to come! Now that I've seen the great quality and craftsmanship, I am eager to get Kaden one as well. I even think it would be neat to put our last name or the word 'Family' and have pictures of all of us!

This is the time of year I enjoy browsing the candy isles in stores, seeing what new and fun treats are available with Easter just around the corner. I do my best to limit the amount of candy I buy, however, when it comes to great brands like Wonka, it's hard to resist!
Wonka is a name known in households across the country. They have recently launched some new, yummy candies for the 2011 Easter and Spring Season that you may have already seen in stores. They're super cute and colorful...perfect for this time of year!

With myself, and three others in my house who enjoy candy every once in a while...I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review some of Wonka's new candies! When the package arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see all that was included and couldn't wait to test out everything.

We were all drawn to the bag of individually packaged SweeTARTS Jelly Beans right away. They are not only vibrant in color, but we learned quickly...they are irresistible. I love anything that comes individually wrapped like this...it makes it easy to open and just have a few (instead of eating handful after handful).

Knowing how much we loved the SweeTARTS Jelly Beans, we couldn't wait to try the SweeTARTS Candy Carrot! Not only were the candies amazing, but the carrot is a lot of fun. The kids really thought it was neat to get candy out of this larger-than-life carrot. It makes for a special treat and would be perfect in any Easter basket.

There was also a big bag with individually packaged assorted treats...including SweeTARTS, Gobstoppers and more! My favorite have been the three packs of Gobstoppers...especially red and purple...so yummy! I love how these are the perfect size for egg-fillers.

The Wonka Springy Double Yummy Gummies were also a hit, especially with the kids. They come in natural orange, lemon and strawberry flavors and shaped like bunnies, ducks and more! The packaging is inviting and the taste is really yummy.

I will admit, that although I do like candy every once in a while...chocolate is really my weakness. I LOVE it! So, you can imagine my excitement when the package included both the Wonka Exceptionals Scrumdiddlyumptious Chocolate Eggs and one Wonka Exceptionals Chocolate Waterfall Egg! This is probably the thing I've eaten most of. The chocolate eggs are absolutely delicious and shaped like eggs, are perfect for any Easter basket or to eat just because. These two varieties are made with rich and decadent Wonka chocolates. I loved the creamy milk chocolate with toffee, crispy cookie and crunchy peanuts in the one, but the swirled milk and white chocolate of the Waterfall Eggs was also delicious!

I have been more than impressed with Wonka's new, yummy candies! As I walk through the isles at Walmart, you can be sure I'll be picking up more...especially of the SweeTARTS and Chocolate Eggs!
