Snazzy Baby Review & Giveaway (Winner's Choice!)

When it comes to buying baby gear and products for my kids, safety is of the utmost importance. I am always looking for companies that make this their top priority as well, which is why I was happy when introduced to Snazzy Baby.

Created in 2003 by Australian mom, Cyndy Mundy, Snazzy Baby offers a great selection of innvoative baby protection products for new parents. Parents all over have come to know and trust Snazzy Baby products, and it's no wonder given their quality, value and function as well as having won various juvenile product awards for excellence, innovation, and safety.

I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review three of their award-winning products: Snazzy Baby Knee Pads, Deluxe 3 in 1 Combo Carrier, Snazzy Baby My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair.

When the products arrived, I was very excited to check them out.

The first that caught my eye were the Snazzy Baby Knee Pads. Although I knew there are products like this out there, I had never tried a pair with either of my kids.

I could tell right away that the Snazzy Baby Knee Pads are fantastic quality. This is important, as I know they will get a lot of wear and tear. The Snazzy Baby Knee Pads feature four-layer cushioned oval pads that are very soft, yet durable. I love it! The midnight blue color really caught my eye right away as well. They can easily be worn by both Kaelyn or Kaden.

Unlike my daughter Kaelyn, who is more cautious and careful...Kaden enjoys running (even faster than his little feet will carry him sometimes) as well as climbing all over the place. He is constantly scraping his little knees and elbows, as well as getting bruises. I was excited to see if these knee pads would do the trick...but have to admit, at the same time was a little skeptical. I wasn't sure Kaden would like having these on his knees. I couldn't help but wonder if they would be uncomfortable and prevent him from moving around easily. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong!

Putting them on Kaden couldn't have been easier. They secure with easy-to-use Velcro straps which make it easy to put them on and take them off. The velcro allows me to get a perfect fit every time which is especially important as his legs continue to grow. The best part is...the moment I put them on Kaden, I could tell by his big smile that he loved them! He seems to get around just as easily as he does without them, and the fact that they are protecting his little knees from rawness and redness is something I greatly appreciate. From the time a baby first starts to explore the world around him, until they are toddler age and walking and running all over the place, these great knee pads help give parents peace of mind. I only wish I had them sooner! At least they are made to grow with a child though, so I know we still have lots of time to use them.

Each knee pad is even equipped with non-slip traction beads to give babies the grip they need as they begin to crawl and stand. I can see this coming in very handy for little ones just starting out, and look forward to having them for future children as they become more mobile. I could even see these coming in handy over the years when the kids first starts riding a bike or playing sports.

Of course, it's a must that any baby gear is machine washable, and I love that Snazzy Baby Knee Pads are! Whether your little one is wearing them indoors or outdoors, they can easily be thrown right in the washer.

Next we checked out the Snazzy Baby My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair.

Have you ever been visiting family or at a restaurant where there is no high chair available? We have, many times! That's why i was so excited to try out the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair. It's an all-purpose 4-in-1 seat that works as a temporary child restraint in just about any situation.

I was instantly impressed with how easy to use. Unlike some products that are confusing to figure out, this one features buckle fasteners and a four-point restraint that are not only easy to use, but also help keep little ones safe and secure when sitting on their own (up to 37 lbs!).

One thing I did not expect, but really appreciate is the non-slip bottom. It grips the surface of any chair allowing your baby to sit comfortably without slipping. In the times we've used it with Kaden, he stays upright with no problem at all.

I also love that it can be attached to the body for hands-free holding, feeding, etc. I can see this feature coming in especially handy with even younger children than Kaden...but if we were on a flight, this would definitely be great even for him!

As if that's not enough, it can even be used in a shopping cart to prevent kids from standing up in the cart and to keep them secure. Kaden has been sitting in shopping carts for quite some time now, and although he does a pretty good job of staying put, there are times he gets restless and makes me nervous that he'll fall out. That's why I love this feature!

When we're not using the travel chair, it easily rolls up as a storage bag. This allows us to take it with us wherever we go and makes it a very convenient thing for parents to have on hand.

Although I loved both the above mentioned products, my favorite would probably be the Deluxe 3 in 1 Combo Carrier. I love when baby products can be used in more than one way and this one not only acts as a carrier, but can also be transformed into a travel chair as well! It means less clutter and more convenience.

When it comes to carriers, I am pretty picky. I find that some are easier to use than others. Thankfully, this one couldn't have been easier, especially with the color coded clips and instructional DVD! I love that thought went into making this as convenient and easy to use for parents as possible. In just 3 easy steps, you have the carrier on and ready to use.

1. Place your baby in the Combo.
2. Fasten leg straps and external strap by inserting them into their matching color coded clips.
3. Bring your arm through the shoulder strap while moving the Combo to the hip and off you go.

Another important feature when it comes to carriers is comfort for both me and my baby. I was happy to find that the 3 in 1 combo carrier has an ergonomically designed gel based shoulder strap to evenly distribute the baby's weight. This makes it very comfortable to carry Kaden around in. Not only that, but he seems to enjoy it too. He's very curious and loves to check out the world around him when we're out and about, so the fact that he can easily be positioned outward is fantastic.

Of course, if your little one is napping, wants to cuddle or is still breastfeeding, the carrier is designed so that children can be strapped in facing inward as well. We have not tried this with Kaden, as he doesn't enjoy facing that direction...however, it would have been great when I was nursing him and when he was younger. I love that there's this option and am sure we'll use it when we have more children.

I really like the storage pouch on the front of the carrier as well. Not all carriers have this, and when we're out, it's a convenient place to keep snacks for the kids, wipes, Kaden's pacifier and even my cell phone, keys and money. It's not too big, but large enough to hold quite a few things.

If you're out and about and need a travel chair, this carrier is very functional and easily converts into a temporary child restraint for use in a variety of chair styles and even in shopping carts.

Oh, and did I mention it even comes with a FREE pair of ' My Baby Leg Warmers '?!! They are adorable, great quality and something that helps keep Kaden's legs warm and protected. Such a great bonus to an already very useful product.

This products is incredibly versatile and definitely made with the busy parent in mind. We've enjoyed being able to use it as a carrier and travel chair, and can see it coming in handy for many years to come...especially since it can be used from 4 months to 3+ years of age!

Overall I've been very pleased with all three Snazzy Baby products! The quality is fantastic, they are convenient and easy to use...but best of all, they help keep my kids safe and that is something I greatly appreciate!
