When I first became a mom, I didn't think much about using a baby carrier. Kaelyn was always very independent, and with only one child...we found it was pretty easy to carry her or push her in the stroller when were were out and about. However, that all changed when Kaden was born. I realized it was not easy to keep an eye on my active toddler, keep my baby happy, and get things done around the house all at the same time. That's when I began babywearing and am so happy I did! Even now at 11 months old, I often find it's still easier to use a carrier with Kaden at times. He's not walking yet and it's much easier than carrying him around in my arms. After successfully launching Sleepy Wrap more than 3 years ago, Robert and Elizabeth Antunovic realized the need for a way to comfortably continue carrying their growing toddler. When the Boba Carrier first arrived, I immediately loved the colors! The chocolate brown straps and green/natural swirl panel not only make this carrier attractive, but also more neutral so that myself and my husband are both comfortable wearing it.
The quality is also very impressive. It's very soft and I really like that it's made with 100% organic cotton! Having used the baby carrier for several weeks now, I can tell that it is one that will last us a long time....especially considering the fact that it accommodates children 15-45 lbs! Kaden and Kaelyn can still easily be carried in it.
The first time I used the Boba, I couldn't believe how easy it is to use. Unlike some carriers out there, I am able to get it strapped on and Kaden in without any help from hubby. This is a huge plus, as it's made to be as convenient as possible, while still offering the quality and security moms look for in a carrier.
I have found the Boba carrier to be very comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps and waist are made with foam and are positioned just right to keep my back from hurting when I'm carrying Kaden. This Soft Structured Carrier has a few extra inches in height to keep your center of gravity closer to your body and support your little one's back. It's great for both baby and mom!
What really makes this carrier stand out from the rest are the foot straps. I have not come across any other carrier with something like this. The foot straps attach to the waist belt for a child's feet to sit in when they're a little bigger. It enables a healthy sitting position and proper leg support for the child which is good for the pelvis, the hip sockets and the spine. I really love that they can be removed completely when not in use. They have an adjustable length and sliding positioning rail to fit your growing toddler.
Another feature I love is the hood. It's perfect for times when it's raining, sunny, cold, Kaden's sleeping, and even for nursing. The sleeping hood is removable, and also rolls up so it's convenient when you need it.
Overall, I have been very happy with the Boba Organic Baby Carrier. It's great quality, comfortable for both me and the kids, stylish, convenient and something I see us continuing to use a lot. So far we have mainly just used the front carry position, as this is what Kaden likes best. However, as he gets older I know I will appreciate that it can be used in the back carry position also.If you're looking for a great baby carrier, I would highly recommend checking out Boba.
