SpongeBob SquarePants: 10 Happiest Moments

Kaelyn has been introduced to many of the popular cartoon characters (especially those from Nickelodeon) and enjoys watching their television shows when she's able to. However, one character she has not gotten to know quite as well is SpongeBob SquarePants. I knew that she knew who he was, but was curious to see what she thought when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review the new SpongeBob SquarePants: 10 Happiest Moments.

Created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, This is a collection of SpongeBob favorites, including a special bonus episode. SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy and the rest of the gang are busy spreading laughter and cheer throughout Bikin Bottom in this funny DVD.

From the Press Release
SpongeBob SquarePants: 10 Happiest Moments Episode Synopses:

Tea at the Treedome- Sandy invites SpongeBob to her glass enclosed home for the first time. Unfortunately, the Treedome is filled with air. Great for squirrels, but could prove lethal for a sponge!

Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy- When SpongeBob and Patrick discover television superheroes Mermaidman and Barnacleboy living in a rest home nearby, they try to convince the duo to come out of retirement.

Culture Shock- Squidward plans and hosts a talent show at the Krusty Krab. The show’s a bomb, until SpongeBob takes to the stage to mop up!

Karate Choppers- SpongeBob and Sandy’s constant karate sparring gets in the way at the Krusty Krab, threatening SpongeBob’s job.

The Algae’s Always Greener- Plankton trades lives with Mr. Krabs for one day, and that’s not enough!

Just One Bite- Learning Squidward has never tasted a Krabby Patty, SpongeBob becomes obsessed with getting him to take just one tiny bite.

Graveyard Shift- Things get real creepy at the Krusty Krab during the overnight shift.

No Weenies Allowed- SpongeBob and Patrick are psyched to ride the scariest, most thrilling roller coaster Bikini Bottom has ever seen!

Christmas Who?- When Santa doesn’t show on Christmas morning, everyone is disappointed, especially SpongeBob.

Kaelyn really enjoyed this SpongeBob feature. Having never really sat down and watched any of the SpongeBob episodes on television before, she found all of the episodes to be entertaining and funny. It held her attention the whole time...especially the Tea at the Treedome episode!

If you have a SpongeBob SquarePants fan in your house, this may be a DVD you'll want to have on hand!

Both of my kids are MAJOR SpongeBob fans. I'm not sure how it happened, but they get really excited when he comes on and I have to admit that I catch myself watching along, too!
