Gearing Up For Summer: Sanuk Sandals Review & Giveaway

During the summer months, you can almost always find the members of my family in a pair of sandals. Whether we're on a walk to the park, a trip to the zoo or even at home...they are definitely our shoe of choice when the weather begins to warm up. That's why I was thrilled when I came across Sanuk and their amazing selection of sandals for the whole family.

Sanuk was founded in 1997 by Jeff Kelley and can now be found in over 50 countries worldwide! Providing creatively inspired yet distinctively designed footwear products for the global outdoor community, they strive to make innovative products that are as much about funk as they are about function.


I was very excited to learn that I was going to have the chance to review a pair of Sanuk Sandals. As I searched through their great selection, it was difficult to choose just one! I decided to go with the Pay Raise Kids Sandal in Fuschia for Kaelyn.

When they arrived, I was immediately impressed with the fact that they came in a Biodegradable bag. I love when companies not only take the time to put care into how the package their products, but it is especially impressive when they make sure it's eco-friendly.

As I pulled the sandals out of the bag, I realized I had asked for the larger kids' size and not the toddler size. Although they are way too big for Kaelyn right now...the good news is, they fit me perfectly! YAY! They are stylish and cute, so why not give em' a try, right?!

I love wearing browns and pink....so, since receiving them, I've had the opportunity to wear them a lot. Whether it's a short trip to the grocery store or a walk to the park...I have found these Sanuk sandals to be very comfortable. The footbed is very soft. I was worried the raised back would make them uncomfortable after awhile, but it hasn't at all. It just makes them unique and fashionable...two things I love in a pair of sandals!


Many flip flop type sandals that I've worn in the past have been uncomfortable between the toes. Not these though! The canvas material is gentle on my feet and I have no problems with blisters and sores when wearing them.

Overall I've been very impressed with these Pay Raise Kids Sandals. They're comfortable, cute, high quality, and affordable...what more could a person ask for in a pair of fun summer sandals? With their great selection of shoes for the whole family...I definitely plan on turning to them again in the future.


I'd especially like for my hubby to get a pair of their Mens Sidewalk Surfers...aren't these great?!
