As I walk through the isles of our local department store, I couldn't help but notice that school supplies are already lining the shelves. This got me thinking about Kaelyn starting preschool in the next year or two and it hardly seems possible that the time is coming so fast! At just 2 1/2 years old, she is a little girl who loves to learn. She loves to tell us her shapes, colors, letters, etc. The thought of putting her in preschool makes me excited and nervous at the same time. I'm excited for her because I know it's something she will love, but nervous about the quality of the school and how they will help encourage her love for learning.
In a nationwide survey of javascript:void(0)parents, KinderCare Learning Centers learned that when selecting a school, 76% of parents are most concerned that their school of choice employs quality and passionate teachers and 80% want to know that their child is excited to take part in activities while at school.
As a parent and former preschool teacher, I am definitely one of those parents. I want to make sure that my kids are in a school where teachers are passionate about what they do and are offering a quality curriculum and learning experience that will help them grow and get them excited about learning and school. With all of this on my mind, as well as considering things like class size, location and programming...it can feel a little overwhelming at times. That's why I was excited to learn more about KinderCare.
KinderCare is a preschool and kindergarten program with 1600 centers nationwide. They offer age-appropriate curriculum, customized experiences and overall school preparedness, making the back to school or start of school process a lot easier than it might otherwise be. I love that they provide a low teacher to student ratio, strong communication between families and teachers, and a safe, nurturing atmosphere. It's wonderful to know that there are options out there designed to excite children's imaginations and provide a stimulating environment for them to grow.
Unfortunately we do not have any KinderCare Learning Centers around where we live, but I wanted to pass along the word for others who are interested in checking them out at www.KinderCare.com. With over 40 years experience in childcare and education, KinderCare provides peace of mind so parents can feel confident in their choice.
