With each year that passes, I find my love for coffee growing more and more. There's just something about a good cup of coffee or cappuccino in the morning that helps get my day started off right. Now that the weather is nicer, we're on the go a lot more. That means I need a brewer that makes it as easy as possible for me to make a cup of coffee, grab it, and go. That's why I was thrilled when I came across the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System!

Founded upon the belief that coffee should always be served fresh no matter where you're at, the question, 'Why do we brew coffee a pot at a time when we drink it a cup at a time?' came up. It was from this question that the revolutionary concept of the Keurig K-Cup portion pack brewing was born. First introduced in 1998, Keurig's innovative single-cup brewing systems let coffee lovers make a freshly-brewed, perfect cup of coffee every time. They have since become the leader in single-cup coffee brewing technology in the US for both the home and office. Offering a range of brewers and hundreds of K-Cups to choose from, Keurig is a name people of come to know and trust!

They are the leading single-cup brewing system in North American for both the home and away from home. It's perfect for those who enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee, tea or hot cocoa without the mess or hassle of ordinary coffee makers. In less than a minute, without any set up, you can have a fresh-brewed, perfect cup of coffee in the flavor of your choice.

I was very excited when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System!
Features/Benefits:

  • Three Brew Size Choices: 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz
  • Removable 48oz. Water Reservoir
  • Programmable LCD Message Center
  • Removable Drip Tray
  • Blue backlit LCD & Water Reservoir
  • Chrome Accents
  • Quiet Brew™ Technology
When the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System arrived, I was immediately impressed with the quality. I could tell this was made well and will last us a very long time. I also appreciated the modern design and look. I love the size and the fact that it features chrome accents. It fits in perfectly with the rest of the appliances and decor in our kitchen.

We were also sent four boxes of K-Cups to try - two coffee, 1 tea, and 1 hot chocloate.

The Special Edition Brewing System is Keurig's mid-luxury home brewing system. It offers a a number of convenient features that I have been looking for. I needed something that was hassle-free, quick and easy to use and have found all of that and more with this brewer.

My favorite thing about Keurig brewers is definitely the single cup technology. I couldn't agree with them more, that every cup of coffee should taste fresh and perfect every time. The fact that I can use one K-cup and have almost any flavor of coffee or tea that I could ever dream of wanting is great! I have never had so many choices in my kitchen all at once and I love it! The variety pack has really given me an idea of some of the flavor choices available. One morning I may be feeling like a cup of breakfast blend, while another morning I might be feeling like French Vanilla and Hot chocolate combined. There's truly something for everyone with their amazing selection. I can't wait to try more.

I wasn't sure how easy the Special Edition Brewing System would be to use, but having used it several times over the past couple of weeks...I can tell you, it couldn't be more simple! It's really as easy as 1, 2, 3! First I fill the 48 oz. removable water reservoir (which holds up to eight cups before needing to be refilled).

I then open the K-Cup holder and place my K-Cup flavor of choice inside.

Upon closing it, the brewer lets me know that it is ready to brew on the Blue backlit LCD screen. I then choose which size (Three Brew Size Choices: 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz) I want and push the appropriate button.

In less than a minute, I have an amazing cup of coffee or tea waiting for me!

I don't know how it could get any easier than that?! Not only is the process of making the coffee easy, but I love how simple it is to clean up too. The removable drip tray really makes clean up a piece of cake and when removed, also makes it possible for me to use my larger travel mugs so I can take my coffee or cappuccino on the go! With summer here, that is definitely something I really appreciate being able to do!

The programmable features make it even more convenient to use as they include a digital clock, adjustable temperature and auto on/off.

I love that Keurig also has the 'My K-Cup' reusable filter that you can buy. This makes it possible to make any type of coffee you want. I ended up buying one so that I have limitless options as to what kind of coffee I can make. I simply fill it with the coffee I want to use and place it where the Keurig holder is. Keurig has truly thought of everything! Love it!

I am absolutely in love with my Keurig Special Edition Brewing System! I can't believe I went so long with an ordinary coffee maker when there was such an easy to use, convenient brewer out there that gives me a fresh cup of delicious coffee every time! I have had so much fun trying out the different flavors, and so has my hubby. He's not much of a coffee drinker, but he and our daughter both have enjoyed several cups of hot cocoa. I must admit, it's very good!

If you're looking for an easy to use brewer that gives you at hot cup of fresh coffee, tea or hot cocoa...I would highly recommend checking out Keurig and their amazing line of brewers and selection of K-Cups.
