Now that warmer weather is here, we find ourselves outdoors more than we do indoors during the day...even when it comes to lunchtime! Picnics are the best this time of year, and with Kaelyn getting older and more interested in helping me in the kitchen...it's been a lot of fun preparing meals to take with us. That's why I knew I had come across something really special when I learned of the Lunch Punch.

The Lunch Punch was born when mother of 3 young children, Kiersten, realized what a challenge it can be to make healthy and appealing lunches that kids will eat...especially when it comes to sandwiches. So, what better way to make sandwiches less boring and more fun to eat than creating the Lunch Punch which cuts them into fun and interactive shapes while cutting off the crusts (a part most kids don't like to eat anyways)!

I was very excited when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review the Lunch Punch Critter Cutters and Match & Munch Sets!

Match & Munch Set

  • Includes 4 interactive puzzle shapes
  • Designed for medium sized bread
  • Great for sandwiches, cheese, playdough, toast, cookies and so much more
Critter Cutters Set
  • Includes 4 unique animal shapes
  • Designed for large bread
  • Great for sandwiches, cheese, playdough, toast, cookies and so much more

When they arrived I couldn't wait to test them out. I pulled Kaelyn into the kitchen and we made sandwiches for lunch that very day! As always, she was very excited about helping...and best of all, the Lunch Punch actually made those boring old sandwiches fun for her to make...and eat.

What I noticed about the Lunch Punch right away, was what great quality it is. It's made from FDA certified food-grade plastic and is BPA Free, Phthalate Free, PVC Free and lead Free! I can tell that these are made to last use after use. Seeing how big of a hit they've been so far...this is a huge plus!

I love that the Lunch Punch is designed especially for little hands. It's taller than cookie cutters, making it easy for even the smallest of hands to easily cut through two pieces of bread and spread while still keeping the sandwhiches light and fluffy. The fact that it's kid friendly and easy for Kaelyn to use is very important to me and one of the reasons I'm so impressed with it.

Kaelyn has never been a good sandwich eater, but since introducing her to the Lunch Punch, that has all changed! It's made eating sandwiches a lot more fun which I really appreciate. Sandwiches are an easy picnic food...so I love the fact that she's eating them better than she ever has before thanks to the Lunch Punch!

I figured she would probably have a favorite between the two different sets, but she loves them both so much. She really enjoys puzzles, so being able to cut her sandwich and piece it together like a giant puzzle with the Match & Munch set is very neat to her. I have to admit that I even enjoy it!

She likes the Critter Cutters because, what kid doesn't like animals, right?! She enjoys the out come and telling me what each animal is. I love how interactive the Lunch Punch sets are. What a great way to make eating (and learning) fun!

We are very happy with the Lunch Punch products we were sent. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know with children! I would love to have the other three, set to release in the coming months. Like the VRRRM! or the Sandwishes! How cute are these?!
