Some of the highest quality toys my kids have are those found online and not in department stores. I am always on the lookout for great toys that are unique, well-made and age appropriate. As I was searching for some new things for summer fun, I came across HearthSong and am so happy I did!

Since 1983, HearthSong has committed themselves to providing parents with age-appropriate, wholesome, and quality playthings for children. It is their belief childhood is a vital chapter in life and a special time when children can experience as much creative, imaginative play as possible. They guarantee that each item is carefully selected for it's quality and safety...and as their motto states, their products are Toys You'll Feel Good About Giving.

When I came across HearthSong, I was very impressed with the selection of toys and products they offered. I could tell that they were unique and something my family would be able to enjoy together. That's why I was thrilled when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review something from their site.

With summer around the corner and nicer weather already upon us, one of my first choices was the Monkey Kite.

When it arrived I couldn't wait to get Kaelyn outside to use it! As I took it out of the very nice packaging it came in (which is great for keeping it nice when it's not in use), I was very happy with the quality. A lot of kites we've used in the past have been rather cheap and cheaply made. This on the other hand, was made very well and something I can tell will last us a very long time.

I also love the monkey on the front. It's very cute, and considering this is one of Kaelyn's favorite animals...I knew she would be tickled to have something like this on her kite. I was right! She loved it!

We took her out to fly the kite and it turned out to be such a fun thing for us to do as a family. It's such a simple thing, but one we plan to do more throughout the summer. Kaelyn loved watching her Daddy run along and try to get the kite up in the air....so much so that she actually wanted to try herself. It was adorable!

We're very happy with this Monkey Kite, and knowing that it is made so well, I'm sure it will bring a lot more fun for many more summers to come. This adorable kite is only one of many products HearthSong offers though. I've spent a lot of time browsing their selection and have found many that I would love to get for my kids at some point.

Whether it's for your children, or someone else's...if you're looking for educational, entertaining toys and products that are great quality and one-of-a-kind, I would highly recommend checking out HearthSong and their great selection...especially with summer just around the corner.
