Black Diamond Wood & Laminate Floor Cleaning System Review and Giveaway (2 Winners!!)

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself a 'clean freak', but when it comes to the floors in my home...I want them spotless. Dirty floors in my home are a big pet peeve of mine, especially knowing that my kids are laying and playing on them on a daily basis. Between spills, crumbs and walking through the house in shoes, I find myself having to clean the floors several times a week. It's definitely not a job I like, and one that has actually had me considering getting rid of our laminate floors all together. That is, until I finally came across a cleaner that truly works!

Before I even got around to cleaning the floors, I was already impressed with several things about this Black Diamond floor cleaning kit. For one, the heavy duty mop is sturdy and nothing like other similar products I've tried that we see on the market today. It was a great height that both myself (at 5' 3") and my husband (who's over 6 ft) can use comfortably.

The microfiber cleaning pad is reusable which is another thing I instantly appreciated. No more having to throw away disposable pads, when this one can just be thrown in the laundry and washed. This is a great way to live greener and save money at the same time!


Also, the fact that the cleaning spray is environmentally friendly and non-toxic is probably the most important aspect for me! I want to make sure that the cleaning products I use in my home are safe. I don't want to have to worry about my kids playing on the floors I've recently cleaned for fear of the cleaner being dangerous to their health. With Black Diamond my mind is put at ease and I know my kids are safe. What a wonderful feeling!

Those were just my initial reactions, but the real test came when I actually started cleaning the floors. Would it really leave my floors clean and streak free?! As I began spraying and mopping, I realized that this is the best product I have every used to clean my laminate floors! It was amazing. The mop glided so smoothly across the floor and to my surprise...there really were no streaks! Water spots and streaking is something I have always struggled with when it came to other cleaners...so this was very exciting for me! Once I got the kitchen done, I didn't want to stop cleaning. I continued into the living room and down our hallway...all of which cleaned up just as beautifully!

The picture above is of our floor after being cleaned with the Black Diamond WOW! Floor Cleaner. I wanted to put a before picture, but I couldn't get the camera to capture just how dirty it was. I was honestly impressed with how this product worked on our floors, and will continue to purchase it and use it. We love it!
