I don't know about you, but I am always looking for ways to make dinner time go more smoothly with my 2 year old. She has been eating with a fork and spoon for quite some time now, but I still find that she drops more food on her lap and the floor than she gets into her mouth.

Carys Bice found herself in the same situation. She had three children under the age of five who became increasingly frustrated trying to use standard utensils that made using their hands seem much easier to get food from the plate to their mouths. Wondering how she could make mealtime go more smoothly, she thought tongs would be an ideal solution and in 2008, Tinytongs was born! They are a safe eating utensil and designed for little hands to use in gripping and getting food into their mouths with more success.

We were sent Tinytongs to review.

When we received our Tinytongs in the mail, I was impressed with the size. I expected them to be larger for some reason, and was pleased that they were smaller and perfect for little hands. The fact that they are made for children 12 months to 5+ years makes them perfect for Kaelyn. She was very excited to use them for the first time. I wasn't sure how it would go, as she had never used tongs before...but she did amazingly well. And, best of all....we didn't have the huge mess after eating that we normally do. YAY! With the ergonomic shape and non-slip gripping ridges...she was able to easily hold onto it and use it successfully.

I also love the quality of Tinytongs. They are dishwasher safe and I can tell will last us a very long time! I'm looking forward to purchasing more so that we have plenty once Kaden begins using eating utensils as well! I also appreciate that they are safe for my kids to use. They are non-toxic, lead free, BPA Free, and Phthalate Free.
