Fandangling: The Next Generation Mobile Review and Giveaway

Crib mobiles are something loved by almost all babies, but unfortunately are outgrown in no time! Who would have thought that a ceiling fan could take its place and serve as a large, safe mobile for children of all ages?! It makes perfect sense since many young children enjoy lying on the floor and looking up at a moving fan, but I would never have thought of it had I not been introduced to Fandangling!

Fandangling began quite by accident when creator, Anne Zacharias, decided to make her daughter's fan a little more interesting to look at it with "decorations". She quickly realized that this was great for babies, and as Lia got older, realized that it was also something older children (and even adults) could enjoy as well!

We were given the opportunity to review the Butterfly Wings Fandangling in Pink.

I was very excited when we received it in the mail, as I knew it would be a fun addition to our 2 year old daughter's bedroom. My first impression was how extremely easy it was to set up. The package came with five Fandangling butterflies, all of which had a piece of velcro attached to them. We stuck the other side of the velcro to each fan blade and attached the butterflies. There you have it! It was truly that easy and took no time to put together.

I also really like the fact that it doesn't interfere with the use of the fan at all and that each piece is lightweight, soft and child safe. I can see how this would be a terrific alternative to using a baby mobile, as you don't have batteries to replace or winding to do. We've been talking about putting a fan in Kaden's nursery as well. When we do, I definitely want to get the Safari Fandangling Kit for him, as his room is 'animal themed'. I think it would be an adorable addition to the decor that's already in there.


Kaelyn absolutely loves it! It looks so cute in her room and certainly adds to the decor she already has in there. Our two month old son Kaden was lying on the bed while we were hanging the butterflies in Kaelyn's room, and once the fan began going round and round, he couldn't take his eyes off it! This is truly the next generation mobile and is great for older children as well!

I would recommend this product to any parent. It's so easy to use, good quality, fun, and unique. It would be make a terrific gift idea as well.
