Honeywell 360º Surround Heater ~ Review & Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Tuesday, February 12, 2013

Here in the midwest we experience very chilly temps this time of year. In fact, the cold often keeps us cooped up at home most of the time. That's why it's important that we are able to keep our house warm enough so all five of us are comfortable. It's not always easy though...my hubby likes it warmer, while I prefer it cooler so I can cuddle up in a blanket and put on layers of clothing. Seeing how this is how it goes in our household, I thought it was fun to read through the following infographic from Honeywell with fun facts on portable heaters and how the sexes are bound to battle.

There's also a new national survey of women conducted by the makers of Honeywell Heaters that I thought would be fun to share as well! The survey has shown that the top books women are cozying up with this winter include...Fifty Shades of Grey and The Bible! To see the Top 10 list of books women are cozying up with this winter, be sure to visit: http://www.honeywellheatsavings.com/CurlUp/ . While there, you an also enter to win a Honeywell EnergySmart® 360° Surround Heater and one of six $50 Amazon gift cards for these bestselling books and more!!
On a cold and blustery day, my ideal way to spend the evening would be curling up with a blanket, comfy clothes, my favorite pair of slippers, a good book, and of course...a heat source. In my opinion, using something like the energy efficient Honeywell 360º Surround portable heater is the best way to create the perfect cozy corner or nook to spend down time during the winter months.

We were sent a Honeywell EnergySmart 360º Surround Heater to review, and I couldn't have been happier when it landed on my doorstep. With the temps dropping lower and lower these days, it arrived in perfect time.
Out of the box I was immediately impressed with it's small, sleek design. I love that it's large enough to give off enough heat to keep me comfortable...yet small enough where I can have it easily sit in any room. The sleek design is also a plus, as it's not an eyesore. It fits in perfectly with the look and decor in our home...I absolutely love it!
Of course, aside from the appearance...I was very interested how user-friendly this portable heater is and how well it works. The answer...it is AMAZING!

I found that the EnergySmart 360º Surround Heater couldn't be easier to use. There are user-friendly controls on the front which make it easy to get the perfect temperature for you. There are two heat modes: constant heat (high and low settings) and an EnergySmart Thermostat which can help you save up to 35% on energy bills! This is a setting I love...as I appreciate ways to help save us money! Having an energy efficient portable heater compared to the one we used to use has been wonderful!
Speaking of energy efficient, there's also an energy usage indicator displayed on the control panel which lets you know the amount of energy used during operation. This, the programmable thermostat, and 1-8 hour auto off timer are just another few reasons why I love this Honeywell portable heater so much. It just has so much to offer!

We have two places in our house that get especially cold during the winter months - our youngest son's bedroom, and our main level family room. For this reason, we have been using the Honeywell EnergySmart 360 º Surround Heater most in these two rooms.

We spend a lot of time in our family room especially in the evenings when we are winding down for the day. I have really enjoyed having a heater to use that helps keep me cozy and warm. My husband who likes it even warmer than I do in the house has been very happy with how well it works! The ceramic technology provides comfortable even whole room heating which has been great! For times when just one of us are cold, there's the 180º Directional heat option that's great for personal warmth. And, when we're both wanting warmth for the whole room, the 360º Surround heat option is great!
It's also been nice to use in our son's room from time to time, especially in the evening before he goes to bed. It works great to take the chill off, and in what feels like a short time, we notice it is much warmer in there.

I appreciate how easy it is to move this heater from one location to another since we have a couple of rooms we like to use it in. There's a cool touch handle which makes it very easy to carry from one place to another. I also like the safety features of having overheat protection and safety shutoff where the heater automatically shuts off if it is tipped over in any direction! How great is that?!
As you can probably tell, we love the Honeywell EnergySmart 360º Surround Heater. It has been great for our needs, and I appreciate that it's made to help us save money and stay warm with so many user-friendly features/controls. I would definitely recommend this portable heater to others, especially during these cold winter months!
