When we were looking to buy a home, my husband and I walked through quite a few before finding the right one for us. I found that I often knew just from walking in the front door if I would be interested or not....just from the way it smelled. Some homes smelled great, and others did not. When it comes to making my home inviting for our guests, the way it smells is very important in my opinion. That's why I love the idea of candles, but am not a fan of the open flame, especially with three young children. Thankfully, there are warmers like those found at ScentSationals that give people like me a safer alternative!
ScentSationals manufacturers wickless wax warmers and fragrances. Their product line includes a great selection of ceramic warmers as well as a wide variety of scents. As I browsed their website for the first time, I was happy to see such an array of styles. With people having different tastes and styles, I think it's great that there's something to suit each one. There are also many fragrances to choose from as well.
When I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review a couple of warmers from ScentSationals...I was looking forward to see what they were like. Choosing was not easy, as there were several that would suit our home and decor quite well. However, after looking for quite some time, I finally decided on the Mini Round Damask Aqua Plug-In and English Garden Warmer to review.
When the wickless candles arrived, I pulled them out of the box right away to check them out.
I was impressed with the size of the English Garden Warmer right away. Although I knew it would be a nice size, I didn't expect for it to be so large. At approximately 6.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide, it's really a nice size for a larger room...like a living room or family room.
The specially crafted warmer has an elegant look to it with the curling vines and is finished with an antique crackled brown which gives it a classic feel and is something that goes great with the decor in our home. I actually chose this one because of how neutral it is. It's really something that would suit many styles and tastes. The quality seems good as well.
This warmer plugs in with a 120 volt wall outlet, and there's even an on/off switch built onto the power cord for safety and convenience. I like this feature, as I don't have to completely unplug the warmer each time I'm done using it.
It uses a 25 wall bulb to melt the fragrant wax cubes, and the melting tray is removable which makes changing fragrance simple.
The Mini Round Damask Aqua Plug-In is the other warmer I received, and right off the bat I was drawn to the design and colors. I love them! This is very similar to the look in our master bedroom and master bathroom.
Of course, the thing that sets this warmer apart from the other is the fact that it plugs in. This is nice for smaller rooms, especially those that have outlets up high...like a bathroom. That's where I have mine.
It can stay plugged in, even when not in use...as there's a switch right on the warmer that allows me to turn it on and off as desired.
I really have been happy with the warmers and receive compliments on how nice they are. The quality is good and the style really goes with our home well. Aside from the great warmers, ScentSationals also has many fragrances as well.
We were sent four and I was excited to see that they were all yummy scents. This time of year I especially enjoy scents that smell like food. There's something warm and inviting about the smell of freshly baked goodies which is why I was happy to see scents like: Mint Chocolate Mousse, Cinnamon Apples, Frosted Cranberry, and Old Fashioned Vanilla!
I have had the opportunity to melt some of each one, and to be honest...I really like them all. My husband's favorite is the Cinnamon Apples. It smells sooo good! The fragrance fills a room and really does make it more inviting...not to mention leaves it smelling like I just baked. :)
If you're looking for an affordable and fun gift idea this Christmas, I would definitely suggest checking out ScentSationals.
