From the moment I became a mom, my camera has been within arms reach no matter where we are. You just never know when you're going to want to capture a memory. I love taking pictures of my kids, however, I have to admit that pictures rarely make it past my computer desktop. I have the best intentions of getting them ordered and printed out...but as a busy mom of three kids, finding the time is not always easy. Technology has definitely made it easier to have access to all of these pictures when I need them, but with that also comes the fear that leaving them on my computer risks losing them. SanDisk's new Memory Vault provides a convenient, reliable place to keep photos and share them for up to 100 years. This great product is essentially a photo album for the digital age...designed for long-term preservation and enjoyment. Having a need for something just like this, I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one.

When the SanDisk Memory Vault arrived, I was impressed right away with the size. I was expecting something larger...almost like an external hard drive, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. It's large enough that I won't easily misplace or lose it, but small enough that it's easy to store.
To use the SanDisk Memory Vault, I simply connected the device to my computer's USB port. Once it was connected, I was able to drag-and-drop photos AND videos onto the Memory Vault. That's all there is to it. VERY simple!! In just minutes I had my pictures backed up onto the 16 GB SanDisk Memory Vault, which gives me peace of mind know that they will be safe and protected.

I really appreciate many features of the SanDisk Memory Vault. Not only is it extremely simple to use, but it makes it possible to not have to rely on hard drives or CDs any more to keep our family memories preserved for years to come. In fact, it's been tested to retain data for up to 100 years!! How neat is that?! I for one think this is a great product and a must-have for parents everywhere.
