Disney's 'Have A Laugh' Volumes 1 & 2 DVDs ~ Review & Giveaway

There are many children's shows Kaelyn would consider to be her favorites, but when it comes to finding one the whole family can enjoy time and time again, none seem to come close to the love that we all share for classics like Mickey Mouse! Since the time Kaelyn was very young, she has enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse, as well as reading about him in books and playing with Mickey Mouse toys. That's why I was thrilled to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review Disney's 'Have A laugh' Volumes 1 & 2.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released two all-new DVD Collections, Have A Laugh Volume 1 & Have A Laugh Volume 2, on DVD October 26, 2010. They are the first two volumes of legendary classic cartoons shorts featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and the rest of the gang.

As someone who has always enjoyed Mickey Mouse myself, I have to admit that I was just as excited (if not more) as Kaelyn to sit down and watch these DVDs. The moment my husband saw that we were watching it, he sat right down as well and said, "now this is the Mickey Mouse I remembered growing up." We have all enjoyed watching these DVDs several times already. What I love about them is that they entertain the whole family and are great for people of all ages. If you love to laugh, you'll like these hilarious shorts of Mickey Mouse cartoons. It really brought back a lot of great memories of my childhood and Saturday morning cartoons, and I have enjoyed being able to share those memories with my own kids.

We've only had these DVDs a short time, and so far Kaelyn has asked to watch them every day! When they're on, I can't help but watch with her. I love the all-new spins on the classic comedy like the BLAM! episodes and the mash-up music videos of cartoon clips remixed to hit songs. They're very entertaining and something I know we'll enjoy watching for years to come.

Have a Laugh Volume 1 features classics like Mickey and the Seal, Lonesome Ghosts, Winter Storage, How to Hook Up Your Home Theater, and Food for Feudin'. Featured BLAM!s include Sports, Skiing and Ice Skating; and the Re-MICKS mash-up is Touchdown Mickey featuring "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen.

We found ourselves really laughing during Mickey and the Seal...Kaelyn couldn't get over how funny that little seal was. It was cute to watch her so entertained by the whole thing. I enjoyed seeing Chip & Dale...they have always been a favorite of mine. They were in the Winter Storage clip, a fun-filled tale where they go after Donald Duck's supply of acorns.

Have a Laugh Volume 2 features favorites like Mr. Mouse Take a Trip, Clock Cleaners, Early to Bed, The Art of Skiing, and Pluto's Sweater. Featured BLAM!s include Skiing 2, Clock Cleaning and Artic Adventure. Mash-up Re-MICKS is a music vicode of crazy cartoon clips remixed to "He Could Be The One" by Hannah Montana!

I thought it was hilarious to watch Donald as he battles a noisy alarm clock and a folding bed!! Mickey and the gang never get old to me.
We found these DVDs to be fun, fast-paced and something the whole family can enjoy watching together. Other than the fact that they feature the classic Mickey Mouse, I love how short each of the cartoons are. I can easily sit down with Kaelyn and just watch a couple, or if we have the time, we can sit and watch the whole thing. Either way, this collection of fully restored, remixed and remastered classic cartoon shorts are fun for everyone.

I would highly recommend checking out the new Have A Laugh Volumes 1 & 2. They're timeless and sure to bring fun, laughter, and smiles to anyone who watches them!
