Update Your Toothbrush this Spring with the Oral-B Deep Sweep 1000 Electric Toothbrush {Review}

The Deep Sweep TRIACTION 1000 is one of Oral-B's Professional Series rechargeable toothbrushes.  Let me just start off by saying, I LOVE this toothbrush!  I'm one of those people who actually really enjoy brushing my teeth.  I love the feeling of smooth teeth and a fresh clean mouth to start and end the day.  I have always felt like I was getting a good clean with my manual brush, but was excited to try out this electric brush and see if I could feel a difference.  After letting the brush charge overnight, I tried it out and WOW, I could tell a difference right away!  My teeth had that super clean feeling that you get when you walk out of the dentist office.  After using it several times, I have also noticed that they stay nice and smooth so much longer than before!  

The TRIACTION 1000 features Oral-B's Advanced Triple Zone cleaning technology which includes: a moving power tip for hard-to-reach back teeth; shorter, stationary bristles for thorough surface cleaning; and longer sweeping bristles for deep cleaning between teeth.  The brush also provides 40,000 pulsations and 8,800 sweeps per minute...it's no wonder my teeth feel extra clean!

One of my favorite features of this toothbrush is the internal timer.  The brush gives a short vibration every 30 seconds signaling you to switch quadrants; after two minutes a longer vibration signals you have reached the recommend brushing time.  You probably have heard that you should brush for two minutes, twice a day, but if you actually timed yourself you may be surprised by how long (or short) you're actually brushing!  Having this internal timer is a great way to make sure you are consistently brushing for the recommended amount of time.  I could see this feature being helpful (and even kind of fun!) for kids when they start brushing their teeth on their own.  

I really like that this brush has a slim design, an ergonomic rubber grip handle making it comfortable to hold, and is lightweight.  The charging station is not much wider than the toothbrush itself, so it does not take up much space on your counter.  When the brush is fully charged it will last up to 7 days with regular brushing, so you can pack it up and take it with you on a trip without having to worry about bringing the charging unit, another feature I really like!   

I love using this brush and would definitely recommend checking it out.  I don't see myself going back to my old manual brush anytime soon!
