Upon becoming a mom, I realized how harsh many products are on children's sensitive skin. With two children (and myself) who suffer from very sensitive skin, I make it a point to look for products that prove gentle and effective, not only for a child, but also an adult as well!
That's why I'm thankful to have been introduced to Mustela! If you're not familiar, Mustela is the number one baby care and stretch marks brand in Europe. They recently reformulated their Mustela Bebe product line based on 10 years of skin research. I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to check some of these products out!
The Mustela Bebe line now features a patented, next generation protective ingredient, Avocado Perseose. It helps protect skin starting at the earliest stages in life. I appreciate that these products are Hypoallergenic, free of parabens, phthalates, and phenoxyethanol and made with an average of 92% ingredients of natural origin!
The Mustela Bebe 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash and Hydra Bebe products are probably my favorite!
The 2-in-1 is a very gentle hair and body wash for children. It is a cleansing gel that goes on smoothly and doesn't irritate any of my kids' skin at all! It has been great, especially for my boys who have more delicate, sensitive skin! I love the way it washes. I also appreciate that it's tear-free and soap-free!
The Mustela Hydra Bebe body lotion has also been great for my kids' skin! It seems to do a great job of moisturizing the skin. Made with Jojoba oil, Vitamins E and F, Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter, Hydra Bebe body lotion provides quick and long-lasting hydration.
My oldest son especially struggles with dry skin this time of year, so having this available to use on his legs and arms has been wonderful! He doesn't complain of it stinging or irritating his skin, and I love that it goes on so smooth and gentle with it's light, non-greasy consistency. It's something we have been using daily!
I also like the pump applicator. It makes it easy to get the perfect amount of lotion and easy to apply it. I have even been using it on my own skin!
Another product from the Mustela Bebe line is the Facial Cleansing Cloths. Whether you have a baby or a toddler, these cloths are great! They are delicately fragranced, yet hypoallergenic which I love! There is no need to rinse them, so they even work well on the go! YAY!
They have been developed to safely clean a child's face from birth on and work well to clean and leave the skin soft and moisturized! Definitely a must-have product in my opinion!
I also love, love, LOVE the Mustela Hydra-stick with Cold Cream! My sons' cheeks both get extremely dry and chapped this time of year with the harsh cold and wind! As you can see in the picture below...Kaden's face gets red and chapped (this pic is from a couple years ago). It's not only sore looking, but gets irritating to him as well!
I love that there is something to help both his, and his brother's little cheeks. This travel-friendly moisturizing stick helps to protect lips and cheeks with cold Cream Nutri-protective complex. It's travel friendly and easy to take with in the diaper bag or my purse.
It protects and comforts the skin with nourishing natural cold cream, lipid-replenishing ceramides and softening and soothing shea butter and can be used from birth on.
In using this, I have found that it glides on gently and really does seem to provide a protective barrier to the harsh weather we've been having. It's gentle on the kids' skin and free of parabens, phthalates and phenoxyethanol.
I was also sent the Mustela Stretch Marks Care Oil. Yes, that's right! They also have products just for mamas too!
This specific products help to prevent and minimize new and recent stretch marks and helps support the skin to withstand stretching during pregnancy. It's formulated with 100% natural oils and 99% ingredients of natural origin. Like the Mustela Bebe line, it's also free of parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, alcohol and colorants!
I love how light and gentle it is, and the delicate scent of floral too.
I have really enjoyed using the Mustela Bebe products on my kids (and myself) and don't worry about it irritating their or my sensitive skin. It's definitely a body care line I would recommend to other parents with little ones!
