Holiday Gift Guide 2013: Springfield Collection Doll ~ Review & Giveaway

**The product for this review was provided at no cost to me. All opinions are my own.

With holiday shopping in full swing, many parents are looking to get the most out of their money when buying gifts for their children! If you're daughter is like mine, this might include the popular 18" doll! The problem is, when the trend is to spend $110 for a doll plus $24 for one outfit, it gets to being quite spendy...leading me to search for more affordable alternatives. That's why I was thrilled to learn more about the Springfield Collection Dolls.

Springfield Dolls are a brand of Fibre-Craft, the beloved company that's celebrating 60 years of making children's creative activity products. They understand the importance of creative play in a young girl's life and offer five quality-made dolls (Emma, Abby, Maria, Madison, & Olivia), each with their own unique personality and story.

Considering the quality, affordability, collection of accessories and clothes,
and overall appeal of these 18" dolls...I was thrilled when asked if I'd like to review one! Kaelyn enjoys dolls that have a similar appearance to herself, so we picked Emma
Ideal for ages 4 years old and up, I knew this would be a doll Kaelyn would love! She arrived in a signature, giftable box making her a perfect gift idea!

Out of the box, I immediately noticed her sparkling eyes, silky hair and beautiful eyelashes!

When we looked her over even more, we also found that she has lifelike eyes that open and close. This may sound simple, but it's one of Kaelyn's favorite features! It makes the doll seem more real to her.

I appreciate the soft torso because it's nice for Kaelyn to play with and cuddle. I also like that the arms and legs are vinyl as they are easy to keep clean. All of these features together make for one fun doll that provides hours of fun!

Kaelyn absolutely loves Emma! She enjoys playing with her hair, pushing her around in a stroller and even pretending to feed her. Pretty much wherever Kaelyn goes, Emma goes too!

We even received one of the trendy outfits which Kaelyn thought was great as well! Now she has two changes of clothes for her to wear, both absolutely darling!

The quality of both the doll and the clothing/accessories have been very impressive. I love that parents don't have to sacrifice quality for price when looking for the perfect gift this holiday season! If you haven't already, I'd definitely recommend checking out the Springfield Collection

Selling for just $21.99 per doll, these dolls have a great price tag and make great gifts! Best of all, they are available at major retailers like AC Moore, Michael's and Jo-Ann Fabrics! There are even gift sets and furniture

Win It: One very lucky reader is going to win one of the five dolls in the Springfield Collection (winner will also receive a special outfit and shoes chosen by the company).
