VTech Switch & Go Dinos ~ Review & Giveaway

With Kaelyn at school every day, I've noticed that the boys spend a lot more time playing together. Two of their favorite things are dinosaurs and vehicles! It's been fun to sit back and watch as they grow closer to each other, and I try to encourage this type of play by finding the toys that fit well with their common interests. That's why I was excited when introduced to VTech Switch & Go Dinos!

The ultimate kid's toy, Switch & Go Dinos easily transform between a dinosaur and a vehicle in a few simple steps. As I read more about this fun toy, I knew it was right up Kaden and Caysen's alley! I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review a few of the Switch & Go Dinos products and couldn't wait to check them out!

We received three Switch & Go Dinos as well as Jagger the T-Rex.

All three of my kids squealed with excitement when they saw the dinos. We opened the three smaller Switch & Go Dinos first.

Out of the box, I was impressed with the quality right away. They're well made and something I can tell will hold up well to a lot of use!

As I said, my boys love dinosaurs and vehicles, so the neatest part about these toys in my opinion is that they are BOTH a dinosaur and a vehicle all in one. It is the perfect toy for young boys and would make a great gift idea for those who are already planning for Christmas!!

We checked out each of the smaller dinos and I was surprised just how easy it was to transform them from a vehicle to a dino and back again. As we do it more and more, Kaden and Kaelyn have figured out how to get them to one or the other with no help at all.

All three of them are really neat. There's an on/off switch and volume control on each one, which is much appreciated! They also have over 30 wild sounds and phrases which makes playtime a lot of fun. The vehicles and dinos have their own fun sound effects and voice buttons, features the kids absolutely love!

They are such a fun, simple toy that have already provided my kids with hours of fun! It's been fun to watch as they use their imaginations while playing with the vehicles and dinos!

We were also sent Jagger the T-Rex which is probably the favorite in our household! This is an awesome Switch & Go Dino that transforms from a construction crane to a fierce Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Since this one was bigger, I thought it may be a bit confusing switching it from a dinosaur to a vehicle, but after doing it once or twice I found it was just as easy as the others.

What I love about Jagger the T-Rex is that it not only has the Switch & Go feature, but it also recongizes and responds to specific voice commands. For example, when we say Roar with me, he roars with his voice-activated motorized jaw. It also moves forward and backward, tells jokes, and even shoots a drill which my kids think is the absolute best!

  

The fact that it features voice recognition really brings this T-Rex to life for the kids. They SO enjoy playing with him and switching it from a vehicle to Dinosaur. I'm amazed how much all three kids have liked playing with these toys. It goes to show that the Switch & Go Dinos from VTech are really a great choice for kids of various ages and something that suits different interests too.

 

We've been thrilled with the Switch & Go Dinos from VTech. The quality is fantastic, the 2-in-1 concept keeps their interest, and the sound effects make it all the better! There are several other Switch & Go Dinos I've already found and plan to get my boys for Christmas this year!
