Scan2Go Circle Race Track Starter Set Review & Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Wednesday, December 12, 2012

As Kaden gets older it's been fun to see how the similar interests he and Kaelyn have, as will as the different ones. Lately he's been really big into anything dealing with cars, which is new for us...as Kaelyn never really showed an interest in anything like this before. It's been fun keeping an eye out for new toys that will suit his new interests this holiday season which is why I was excited to learn more about a new toy from MGA Entertainment.
MGA Entertainment has launched the internationally acclaimed Scan2Go Circle Race Track Starter Set toys and accessories in North American for the very first time! Geared toward children ages 4+, this new toy brings car play to a whole new level.

Each Scan2Go car comes with a set of distinctive power cards containing innovative technology that allows kids to activate turbo sequences while racing, making Scan2GO IC powered cars the only racing cars in the cosmos with cards that directly affect the performance and speed of the car.

I was excited to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review this fun toy. When it arrived, Kaden couldn't wait to get it out and play.

The set comes with a two lane circle race track, over 10 feet of track, a Scan2Go Galgor car, and 2 foil card packs, each with 6 assorted Turbo Power cards.

Once we had it all out of the box, there was a little bit of assembly required. Thankfully it didn't take long, and in no time we had the track put together and ready to use. The track pieces easily snapped together and are held with connectors so that it stays together. The race car does require 2 AA batteries which are not included, but we had them on hand so that was not a problem.

To start, you swipe a power card on the car and it takes off on the track. There are different cards which can make the race car go different speeds. It's really a neat idea and something that not only Kaden has had fun with, but the whole family!
As I said, this is geared toward children 4+years! It's a lot of fun for Kaden at 3 years old too though. He enjoys watching the race car on the track, and even driving his own cars on it. It's neat to see his little imagination at work. I love it!
We've enjoyed the Scan2Go Circle Race Track Starter Set a lot and would definitely recommend it as a gift idea this Christmas for any young child on your list this year. You can purchase it for $49.99 at LittleTikes.com.

Win It: One very lucky reader is going to win a Scan2Go Circle Race Track Starter Set of their own! To enter, fill out the Rafflecopter giveaway below. If you don't see the form, click here.
