Moxie Girlz World of Sportz Review & Giveaway

Kaelyn is very much a girly girl and loves all things dealing with dolls. She spends a lot of her time playing with them, loving on them and pretending she's their mommy. I love sitting back and watching as she interacts with her dolls, and seeing her imagination at work. I like to encourage this type of play in any way I can, which is why I've been on the lookout for doll gift ideas this Christmas. That's when I was introduced to Moxie Girlz World of Sportz dolls!

If you're familiar with Moxie Girlz, you know they are all about individuality and confidence, and they show it in sports they choose. As I was looking through the different Moxie Girlz dolls, I was drawn to Sophina the Soccer/Football player. Kaelyn enjoys dolls that she thinks look like her, so the dark hair was something I knew she'd like right away.

When the doll arrived, Kaelyn couldn't wait to check her out. I appreciated the way she came packaged....great for gift-giving.

I was also happy to find that the quality of the doll is fantastic! I know this is a doll Kaelyn will be playing with a lot, so it's nice to know that it is well-made and will hold up to a lot of use.

One of Kaelyn's favorite things about Sophina is that she came wearing the soccer sports outfit, which also included sports accessories. This one came with a gold medal and a ball. It's been fun watching how Kaelyn plays with this doll differently than her others. She gets all excited pretending she's making a winning point for the team and then gives her the medal (something she has seen done on the olympics in the past). It's neat to see how the sports theme and attire really make play a lot more fun for her, not to mention that it takes her imagination to a whole new level.

She's always had an interest in sports because she has a daddy who loves to watch and play them, however I think she has always thought of them as being more of a "boy" thing than something she could actually do. That's why I love this doll. It take something that she might otherwise think of being only a "boy thing" and makes it into a "girl thing" too. Having a doll who is an athlete shows her that she can play sports too. That she can do anything she sets her mind to and to never give up on her dreams.

Kaelyn has a lot of fun with her Moxie Girlz doll. It's one she gets out almost daily to play with. Recommended for ages 3+, I would definitely recommend the Moxie Girlz World of Sportz as a gift this Christmas. Each Moxie Girlz doll retails for around $10.99 and wears a different sports outfit and includes their own sports accessories. There are a lot of cute ones to choose from!
