Holiday Gift Guide 2011 #6: Aeromax My 1st Career Gear Review & Giveaway (Winner's Choice)

Kaelyn has enjoyed playing dress-up from the time she was very young. She loves using her imagination and playing creatively. Now, at nearly 2 years old, Kaden likes to get in on the fun too. I love sitting back and watching as they engage in make-believe...it's such a magical part of childhood. It's neat to see where their imaginations will take them from one day to the next... whether it be a chef, a store clerk, or even an animal...listening to their conversations and seeing them get all dressed up never gets old! I like to encourage this type of play as much as I can, which is why I love Aeromax Toys. They help parents find a great selection of realistic, affordable dress-up gear for their kids all in one location.

Founded 13 years ago, Aeromax began when President Mark Levine created one product...the Aeromax 2000 Tangle Free Toy parachute. Over the years, the product line has continued to grow, now offering more than 300 (and counting) items as well as every top toy industry award.

The first time I came across Aeromax, I was very impressed! Having two young children, their great range of dress-up clothes is something I appreciate. Aeromax has it all when it comes to must-have pretend wear for both boys and girls! Whether it's hats, toys or something else you're looking for, they have it all!

We've had the opportunity to review a couple of items from Aeromax and I've never been disappointed with the quality and overall fun they provide. That's why I was excited to learn that we were going to be reviewing two items from their My 1st Career Gear line!

Aeromax's My 1st Career Gear is designed for children 3-5 years old. At $10.95 each, these one piece tops are a great addition to any playroom or even preschool classroom. With a Road Crew worker, Doctor, Police Officer, Chef and more to choose from...you're sure to find something that suits your child's interests perfectly. We were sent the Police and Firefighter tops and I had a feeling the kids would absolutely love them. I was right!

When the vests arrived, both Kaden and Kaden were eagerly waiting to put them on. Right away, I was drawn to the colors. They are so bright and vibrant...really something that catches the interest of a child. They are so cute!

Each one is made extremely well. The quality is great and something I know will last us a long time...even through the wear and tear of daily use. I love that these career gear tops are also machine washable...a must with kids in my opinion!

As the kids and I checked each top out more closely, we were happy to see so many fun details on each vest. It really makes these one-of-a-kind and once they put them on....the character comes to life. The police vest has badges, patches and a belt with accessories just like a real police officer.
The Firefighter has a cell phone, badge and more . I love that these vests allow for Kaelyn and Kaden to dress-up and play Police and Firefighter without having all of the loose toys to misplace. They just love them, and so do I!

When the kids put them on, their little faces lit up! They are even more adorable on, and to my surprise...fit both of them very well. Made for children 3-5 years old, they are a little big on Kaden...but it's still something he can easily wear and play in. It just gives him more room to grow into and play with them longer which I really appreciate!

A feature I really appreciate about the My 1st Career Gear vests is the Velcro. When the kids are busy playing, they can easily put these vests on and Velcro them up themselves without having to come ask for help. They can put them on and take them off as they like, which has been great!

It's also nice that the tops go right over the clothes they have on. Many of the dress-up items my kids have require that they take off their clothes before putting them on. This often results in clothes being all over the place and usually me needing to help get them on and off. Having something so convenient has been great!

As always, Aeromax did not disappoint! We've been very happy with the My 1st Career Gear from Aeromax! Not only is the quality fantastic, but the detail and thought that went into making the vests just perfect for kids is what really sets them apart. I have enjoyed watching Kaelyn and Kaden pretend to be a Police Officer and Firefighter and love that these vests help to encourage unlimited imaginations!
