Madii & Dyl Mini Me Pillow ~ Review

It wasn't until we moved Kaelyn into her own bed, that we gave her a pillow to sleep on. Although she likes it ok...there are many times I go in to check on her during naptime or before bed, only to find that she has ditched the pillow and is curled up on her sheets. I have been in search for a pillow that is more comfortable and suitable for her which is why I'm thankful to have been introduced to Madii & Dyl...a great pillow company for kids!

When it came time to finding a pillow for her son, Jackie Than ran into the same problems many parents face. Finding the right pillow was not as easy as it sounds. She found cotton pillows to be a breeding ground for mites, buckwheat too uncomfortable and dusty, feathers had no shape and did not offer the support needed, and memory foam is made from harsh chemicals. Considering the average infant and child sleep up to 16 hours a day, she felt it important to find something that was hypoallergenic, natural and most importantly provided the support that growing children need.

As I browsed the Madii Dylan website, I learned a great deal about these pillows and what set them apart from others on the market. Madii & Dyl pillows are made from 100% pure latex (harvested from the milk of the tropical Heavea Braziliensis tree) with no additional chemicals used during processing. This pillow collection is completely hypo-allergenic and resistant to dust mites, mildew, and bacteria.

We have been in need of something different for Kaelyn to sleep on for quite some time now, and I had a feeling this was the answer we've been looking for. That's why I was excited when asked if we'd like to review the Mini Me Pillow from Madii & Dyl!

When the pillow arrived, I couldn't wait to check it out.

Upon pulling it out of the package, I was immediately impressed with how soft and cushy it is. It made me wish I could find this nice of a pillow for me!

The size is great too. I can tell it was made with a child's needs in mind. It's the perfect size for Kaelyn and a pillow she'll be able to use for years to come. Knowing that it can be washed (by hand or machine) and still retain its softeness and shape for up to 5+ years guaranteed, gives me even more peace of mind that it will last us a long time! The outer case and pillow protector zip right off for washing, but the actual pillow can be washed too. How great is that?! All pillows come with a polyester pillow protector and the pure cotton pillow case.

Kaelyn has been using the Mini Me pillow and has let me know that she absolutely loves it! It seems to be very comfortable for her. The contoured design helps support proper spine and neck alignment. It helps keep Kaelyn's head comfortable and keeps her in a position which encourages peaceful, quality sleep.

I also think the micro-ventilating cores help a lot too. They provide maximum air flow, which prevents moisture and heat build-up. It helps keep a child cool in any position, which is great for Kaelyn! She gets warm easily and her room seems to be warmer than the others in our house. I love this feature of the Mini Me pillow. It's just one more reason I keep telling my husband I can't believe we went so long without it!

Now that we've gotten to see how great the Mini Me pillow is for Kaelyn, I'd love to try their Teenii Tot pillow for Kaden. This pillow is ideal for children 18+ months (toddlers and walkers). It has a distinctive wave design that conforms to the child's head, offering proper neck support and spine alignment. It too has self-ventilating cores that provide maximum air flow and can be washed by hand or machine. The main difference is that it's a little bit smaller, measuring 42 x 25 cms which is perfect for younger children.
The third pillow offered by Madii & Dyl is the Sooki Babe. This pillow is made especially for newborns and infants with its unique cradle design to prevent roll-overs and flat-heads. It contours to naturally conform to the child's head providing correct neck support and spine alignment from an early age.
We have definitely been impressed with the quality and comfort of the Madii & Dyl Mini Me pillow! It's practical for young children and seems to meet Kaelyn's needs perfectly. I'm very happy we were introduced to their great line of children's pillows!

We were also sent a sample of the new Madii & Dyl Luxe Cleansing Flannel.

Jackie found that her daughter's skin would react to most of the baby creams and washes available on the market. Once irritated, wetting and washing her would further dry out her skin. It was unsettling and had her looking for a better solution. That's when she decided to create the Luxe Cleansing Flannel, made form eco-friendly materials.

As I pulled the cleansing flannel out of its packaging, I was impressed with its silky soft feel! I can see how this would be great for sensitive skin! The material is highly absorbent and made for use on delicate areas without wetting, scratching, irritating or requiring pressure. It is ideal for use on sensitive skin conditions, including eczema.

Kaelyn has always had sensitive skin, and actually sounds a lot like Jackie's daughter. I'm very happy to have this cleansing flannel to use on her. Knowing that it was made to be used on common childhood skin ailments like hives, rashes, dry skin, allergies, and more...I know we'll be getting a lot of use out of it. It can even be used daily by adults to refresh and remove make-up, dirt and oils.
