Shenzhen Ceramic Knives ~ Chef’s Knife Review & Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Thursday, December 16, 2010

Between all of the holiday get-togethers and family visiting...the next couple of weeks will mean a lot of time spent in the kitchen preparing meals and baking more Christmas goodies. I am always on the looking out for tools to make the process easier, which is why I am thankful to have been introduced to Shenzhen Knives!

Committed to bringing you quality and affordable ceramic knives and knife sets, Shenzhen Knives are known as one of the best selling ceramic knife brands on Amazon.com! Their ceramic knife blades are made from ziconium oxide which undergoes high-pressure molding before being fired. This allows each blade to be lightweight, stay sharper longer, not rust, clean easily, and not affect the taste of food in any way.

Upon learning more about Shenzhen Knives and their ceramic knife products...I was very intrigued. Although I've heard of ceramic knives before, I have never actually used them myself. That's why I was thrilled to learn I was going to have the opportunity to review Shenzhen Knives' White Ceramic Chef's Knife.

Having never used a ceramic knife before, I was a little unsure of what to expect. When the Chef's Knife arrived, I was excited to try it out!

As I opened the box, I was really impressed with the appearance. I had never seen a ceramic knife in person before and loved the look and quality of this 6" white blade (zierconium oxide).

Having used it several times, I am impressed with the way it cuts through things like meat, veggies and fruits. I love that it's suitable for every-day kitchen use....as I've really gotten a lot of use out of it already. I can tell it's something that will last me a long time, especially since the material's properties make it particularly resistant to wear and tear. It is actually made to hold its edge much longer than a steel blade without the need for re-sharpening.

I have also been happy with how easy it is to use. It's very lightweight and with hardly any pressure at all, it cuts easily through onions, apples, potatoes, etc and is very precise.

Overall I've been very impressed with the Ceramic Chef's Knife from Shenzhen Knives! It's durable, easy to use and best of all...extremely affordable! It would make a great addition to any cutlery set, as well as a fantastic Christmas gift for anyone who loves to cook.
