Hatley Review & Giveaway

Posted by Jenna | Wednesday, December 08, 2010

When it comes to the clothes my kids wear, I want style and personality without sacrificing comfort and quality. Unfortunately this is not always an easy thing to come by. Kaelyn and Kaden have several outfits I would consider to be one or the other, but not many are both. What about finding it all without compromise? Well, now I know I can with Hatley...where style, comfort, quality, and fun all meet!

What began over 20 years ago with a husband and wife selling fun aprons has since grown to include a great line of apparel for the whole family as well as items for the home. Hatley is now run by their 3 sons who have helped transform and grow the company even more. Offering everything from an extensive children's apparel line and women's sleepwear to great gifts, kitchenware and so much more...Hatley is a family-owned business selling products around the world.

When I first came across Hatley, I was very impressed with their large selection of colorful and fun loungewear and cotton pajamas, inspired by nature and wildlife. Always on the lookout for quality clothing for my kids...I was happy to find their children's apparel line. From rain gear and beachwear to sleepwear, daywear, and even family pjs...they have it all! I was especially drawn to their comfy sleepwear for infants, and couldn't have been happier to learn we were going to have the opportunity to review one of their infant coveralls.

Although a difficult decision, as there are so many cute choices...I decided to go with the new Hatley Unforgettable Blue Infant Coverall and Knot Cap.

Features:
  • Front applique
  • Shoulder and inseam snap closure
  • Contrast cuffs
  • Matching embroidered cap
  • 100% cotton
When the Unforgettable Blue Infant Coverall and Knot Cap arrived, I was immediately impressed with the extremely soft, 100% cotton material. Kaden has sensitive skin, so I'm always looking for clothing (especially when it comes to sleepwear) that will be gentle and non-irritating. This is perfect. It seems very comfortable and has me wishing I had a pair of pjs just like it for myself! The quality is fantastic, and having been washed several times, it still looks great!

I absolutely love the blue color and the contrasting cuffs. It seems when shopping for boys clothing I often find bright blues, greens, etc. so this is a nice change.

Of course, my eyes were instantly drawn to the adorable front elephant applique. This is what really stands out. It's very cute and not just something that was printed on...but actually sewn. I love it!
The moment I put them on Kaden I could tell he liked them as much as I did. Some of his other pjs have zippers which he often grabs at and doesn't like. The buttons are perfect and something he doesn't even notice. I really like them too, as they make putting them on and taking them off a piece of cake...not to mention easy to change his diaper. It makes it so much more convenient to have the snaps right there on the legs and is a feature I really appreciate!

As if these infant coveralls aren't already adorable, there is also a matching embroidered knot cap. How cute is that?

Now, I have to admit I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit Kaden. Over the past year he's had several outfits that come with caps, and none of them seem to fit his head. I couldn't have been happier to find that this one fits him perfectly! Not only that, but like the coveralls, the 100% cotton is extremely soft and something he doesn't mind wearing. I love it...especially with colder weather upon us.

I have been very happy with the Unforgettable Blue Infant Coverall and Knot Cap! They are fantastic quality, adorable, comfortable, fun, and stylish. I would highly recommend them to any parent of an infant. And, of course, the Infant Coveralls are just one of many items offered at Hatley. Be sure to visit their site and check out their apparel, gifts and kitchen products. With the holidays just around the corner you're sure to find something for almost everyone on your list.
