Checking Our List #18: BRUGO Travel Mug Review & Giveaway

I don't know about you, but here in Minnesota the weather has cooled down tremendously. What felt like summer just a few weeks ago, definitely feels more like winter now. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the weather this time of year, however, cuddling under a warm blanket with a nice cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate does help. The only thing I've often thought to myself, is how great it would be if I learned how to drink a fresh cup of coffee without burning my tongue! Well, thanks to the BRUGO Travel Mug, I now can!!

When I was first introduced to BRUGO, I have to admit that I wondered if it was too good to be true. Could a mug really make it possible for me to start drinking my coffee immediately? No more burning my tongue? I was excited to learn that I was going to have the opportunity to find out for myself.

I was sent the BRUGO Mug in Mediterranean from the Executive Collection to review.

When the BRUGO Travel Mug arrived, I was immediately impressed with the overall appearance. When I'm taking my mug with me on the go, I like to have something that looks nice and this definitely does. The color is great (in fact, I'd love several of their 13 great colors) and the Stainless Steel and Chrome accents are what really set it above an beyond. It's such a sleek and stylish look.

As I took it out of the box, I was also very pleased with the quality. I have used various travel mugs over the years, and this is by far seems to be one of the most durable. I can see it lasting us a very long time.

Of course, the real question remained...would it truly cool my coffee down with each sip? Having used it, I can now say yes! I am still amazed how well it works. Each sip is cooled and makes it possible for me to actually enjoy my coffee. This happens because the the sip is separated from the main chamber when you 'tip and sip'.

It enters the patented Temperature Control Chamber and instantly adjusts to the perfect temperature. The neat thing is, it doesn't affect the rest of the coffee. The remaining coffee stays hot, and from my experience, stays hot for a long time thanks to the double-wall insulation.


This time of year Kaelyn enjoys a cup of hot chocolate every now and then. The problem is...we usually have to let it cool it off for 20 minutes or more just so it's at a temperature she can handle. Unfortunately this kind of takes out the fun and point of having a nice cup of hot chocolate. Thanks to BRUGO and the Tip and Sip...she can enjoy it without burning her mouth. The Tip & Sip concept took some time for her to get used to, but she quickly caught on and loves it just as much as I do. It's truly a product that's good for the whole family!

I absolutely love the 3-position drink mode selector! As I said, the Tip & Cool mode allows you to enjoy the benefits of the Temperature Control Chamber and drink your hot beverage right away. By simply tipping the mug away from you for a few seconds, it takes it from the lower chamber to the cooling chamber. In the Lock mode, the mug is sealed and 100% leakproof. The Sip mode makes it possible to use it as a traditional mug once your coffee has cooled down some.

The BRUGO Mug is unlike any other I've tried before. It's truly unique with it's cooling chamber and 100% leakproof lock. I love it! Having used it and seeing for myself how well it works makes me realize just how many of my friends and family members would appreciate having one too.
